PMS in a Handbasket--Don't be afraid, just bring us food... Part 23

morning.

Someone kick me off this couch. I have a dr appt at 10:30 and I really need to get showered and get some coffee and food before then. I am craving Dunkin donuts which is right next to the Dr.s office.

Today WILL be a good day! If nothing goes wrong/changes the DIS journey I have been on for over a year will finally end! It has been a strange roller coaster ride. I wouldn't trade it for the world, it brought me here and to all of you and many other DIS friends I have made along the way. I also lost a few friends along the way and those really hurt but that is the nature of the internet. I will sure be relieved to have it done with. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed what I did, but it will be so great to have the stress out of the way. I am still amazed at the changes in my life in just the past year, all because of a few little silly posts on an internet message board I wasn't even planning to continue to post on after Sept. 2006. The DIS is an amazing and awesome place. :thumbsup2

Congrats to Angel

Hugs to Tig and Paige

Pixie Dust to Mr. Shar

A great big "aww" followed by a hug to Scrappy

Uh, I think Scrappy just left for good

How did you do it? You made me laugh in spite of my head. I do think that she's referring to WASABI.

I have the light turned on the way down on my laptop so it isn't bright, but it still hurts to be here. But I also can't read, watch tv, or sleep, so this is the least of the evils since at least my computer doesn't make noises like the tv does.

Morning all.

And yes I think Scrappy was talking about WASABI.

ooohhhhhhhhhh, I feel much better now! :yay:

That's ok--I was a bit confused at first, too. Then I remember what had begun almost exactly a year ago and the  went off. I can't believe it's been a year--what a wonderful experience. I met some great people and my teammates still enjoy chatting with each other.

I can't decide if I feel well enough to call my sister back. She called this morning and yesterday. I'm sure she's been having fun in the Oklahoma weather. Since my headache is on the right side and I hold the phone up to my left ear, maybe I'll be ok.

Big Freaking Vent~~~~~~

I dropped ds off for piano lessons today at 3:45 and told him that since his sister's dance class was cancelled for the day, she and I would sit in the car and wait for him in the parking lot, like we did before she started dance.
So...we went into the bakery and picked up a baguette (the bakery shares the parking lot) and walked back to the car to wait.

And we waited

and waited.

And finally I said 'Well, he's 15 min late, so let's go in.' I walked in and he was in the building playing. The witch who works there said 'Are you his mom' Yeah...'Well his piano teacher didn't show up and we didn't know where you were'....

Well, I said, HE knows where I was. I was in the parking lot teh whole time.

Then she said 'That is way too much responsibility for someone his age.'

Do you know my kid? Am I supposed to drag my other kid into the After School Program building and sit in on his piano lesson? :confused3

So I asked if the teacher planned on being there next week. She told me she didn't know. The teacher hadn't called. And yet I am the irresponsible one?

She did inform me that they called my husband at work and would I like her to tell him my son was alright when he returned my call?

I am so pissed.

Why didn't she ask your son where you were and then walk him out to you? She expected you to sit there with your daughter all that time?

SMMOG I would have slapper her right there, Bomb.

Oh, I said many many bad things I am going to have to explain after my kids repeat them. Only I said them in the car.:headache:

Wow!! Just wow Bomb

Ds is not really good at communication. She did not ask him, but he should have said so which is what I said before she told me that was too much responsibility for him. I have NEVER sat there except for the first lesson back in Aug.

After 2 glasses of wine and a (Belgian) beer, I feel better. I still need to shop though.

I am pretty strong, but do you think I could take the kids to Casablanca for a week?:confused3

Oh, it is fake? We have lots of trees. And now lots of power converters for those trees. Got those in the mail yesterday.:thumbsup2

Yes it is fake. I actually have three fake trees at home, two small and one big one and one tiny real one here at work. The big tree has all of our regular ornaments on it and one of the little ones are for the "special" ornaments. I have lots of ones from WDW and ones I got on most of my cruises. The last tree is a silver tinsel one that belongs to my mother.

And the $175 ones are on Webkinz. ;) I have soooooooooo many points from playing Home Before Dark. I have a total of 7 trees on there.

:sad1:

30,000 posts and that's the best you can do! :sad2:

Reminder:

MM today is your anniversary and you need to get your DH a card and a steak! :thumbsup2

Yeah, we have 2 big fake trees and 6 small fake trees and one big real tree. I love to have the lights. We have not set up one of the big and one of the small. I may have to tomorrow. We used to have 2 big real ones. In more ways than one.:lmao:

You spent $175 on a Webkinz tree?:confused3
