We are at Panera for breakfast then off to the hospital. We'll probably let the girls see my Mom this morning. Linda and Edith are worried about that, but my Mom motioned last night that she wants to see them. She looked better than I thought last night. The respirator is scary, but not overwhelming. She does look scared though. She wants the tube out and it hurts when she coughs. I'm just hoping for the best, but are also getting myself prepared for the worst. at least i got to see her and tell her I love her. Thanks for the texts , prayers and good thoughts. Keep them coming, please. We all appreciate them. My sisters plane lands in about 15 minutes.

hmmm...ironed panties.. wouldn't that be uncomfortable?

I dunno, I like my britches nice and toasty warm

Okey doke, off to work. It's fiesta day and I get to wear a sombrero.

See you this afternnon.

Geez. Our lunch ladies only wore hair nets :sad2:

I've only been to AK twice, not really my "thing"....I figure I live near the national zoo, so the animal thing I can get at home. I liked the new roller coaster, but it's not really worth a whole day unless I'm staying for at least a week.

OK....I have to go to the W place:sad2:

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who can't figure out the big deal about AK other than EE!!!

Caro's plane is delayed for plane problems...and to think it's a Boing plane! Hopefully they'll be on their way soon.
It was actually a MD80, so Boeing by association since we bought them out! It was a problem with the lavatory in 1st class!

Shar - Hugs to your daughter. I sure hope she is okay! Sending good thoughts :wizard: .

Liam had his visit with the pediatric cardiologist yesterday and everything is okay. Thank God. His pulmonary area? is still prominent, but all the measurements are on the upper end of the normal range. So if something normally measures 17-22 cm, his is 22. They want to see him again in 6 months, but for now, there aren't any leaks, holes, etc.

Such a relief. I promptly came home and opened the wine!

:yay: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2: :dance3: :yay: That is awesome news!

Tig, you know I'm not around as much as I would like to be lately, but thank you for that!!
Just telling the truth!

Just a fly by. Please think good thoughts for my DD. She is sick. She had a laproscopy where they removed a band wrapped around her intestine last year and since then has had recurrent abdominal pain. Usually the episodes last for only about 2 hours at a time. Well she's been sick since yesterday. Severe abdominal pain. She had an xray yesterday because they are trying to see if the recurrent pain is from scar tissue or more bands. Of course it showed nothing (as they all did before the surgery, these things don't show on regular films). We are thinking that this time she just has a stomach bug of some sort, but she is white as a sheet. I am taking her to the pediatrician in a few minutes. My poor baby! Please throw lots of pixie dust her way, as she really needs it.

As you may have guessed, our cruise is currently in a hold status.
I'm sorry she's having a tough time, Shar, and I hope that you get to go on your cruise!

I'm so glad! I was worried about the little critter.

I'm having a very off day. I almost lost it on the way to Sam's Club this morning and could hardly get the shopping done. Got home and my husband said, "isn't today a cat shelter day?" and I told him that today's Thursday. He told me that it's Friday, but I insisted that it's Thursday. Obviously I'm off a day. I rushed in and were the other volunteers ever happy to see me! :scared:

I don't know what my deal is, but it's not good. Too many things on my mind plus dreary weather makes for a very depressed Tig I suppose. :sad1:

I

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who can't figure out the big deal about AK other than EE!!!

:scared1: I love AK. I love the Festival of the Lion King, & I love Dinosaur.

I also like it's tough to be a bug and Kali River Rapids if it's hot out.

But It's not usually an all day place for us. The parade is weak.

I LOVE Everest and the new show (what's that called, 4's?). I also like the Lion King show a lot, but I've seen it so many times that it's getting a little old.

Caro...I am keeping your mom and your family in my thoughts:hug:

Tig:hug:

Tig!  Dh is like that - he absolutely hates the rain and clouds.

OT: we love Animal Kingdom. Dinosaur, Primevel Whirl (or whatever it's called),
the new Nemo Show is great; The Lion King, Expedition Everest, The Safari, Kali River Rapids, Tough to be a Bug. The good thing is, if the weather cooperates, you can do everything you want, then go back to the pool for a couple of hours before dinner and nighttime entertainment!

Thanks Pixie and im. I really need an attitude adjustment and fast. I feel like I'm going to lose it any minute and I'm scared to go do my errands because I don't want to lose it when I'm out.

Hello friends

Caro, I'm so sorry for the heartbreaking situation you and your family are facing - I'm praying for all of you. Tig, love and hugs

I'm having a bit of a difficult week myself. Lots of things up in the air, and money's so tight right now. I've had tears in my eyes several times over the last couple of days.

That's what I keep telling myself, im!

 LiteBrite. I know how the money concerns can weigh a person down. I think I'm in denial about my husband's job situation. Hang in there--I'm here any time you want or need to vent.

:rotfl: Shug!

I found a sub for next week's shift at the cat shelter and I put a call into the head shelter person asking to move three kittens that just came in to a bigger cage so they can all be together. If she gives me the green light I'll go back over there this afternoon and move them into that empty cage. I might go back over there, anyway, to show them to Jake and play with them. They are 3 siblings--2 orange kitties and their torbie sister. So adorable.

Thanks, Tig. There is light at the end of the tunnel, but in the meantime, it's looking like I may have to start looking for a part-time job on top of my lessons. I really would love to avoid that if possible, but I'm preparing myself to suck it up and do what needs doing if it comes to that.

Tig ..you can call me at work if you need to.
