Caro, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. When you get there, you should talk with her doctor. Find out her prognosis with and without treatment.

It's going to be hard but maybe you should talk to your mom about her options and help her make the best decision based on what she wants. Just remember that what she wants may not be what you want.
She continues to be in my prayers and I'll pray for you too.

Yet another very very good reason to plan early. There will be no confusion about what she wants and when she wants it.

Ty is doing better, thanks. The rash looks much much better. No more oozies. He was complaining that his back hurt in that area so I really hope another outbreak isn't about to happen. Pain precedes tha rash.

Thanks everybody, it's all such a blur right now. Andrew is home now and he's trying to get a hold of Linda or Edith to find out more. He did talk to a nurse in the CCU that said my Mom is awake and breathing better. I'm just really really confused right now on what's going on. You don't pull the plug on someone that is lucid, so I don't get what is going on. I think we are going to fly down there ASAP (tonight and tomorrow) I'll know more when we get more info.

So DH called and is stuck in traffic big time. Doesn't expect to be home till around 8. He said to go ahead and eat but now I don't want to cook and I have nothing easy to fall back on. Any ideas.

I'm thinking about going across the street for some take-out chinese. One of their dinner specials is plenty for me and my DH. But that would involve me going out. BUT I've been dying for some chinese.

: Maybe I'll call a different place and get something delivered. Than we would have leftovers for the weekend. BUT that would cost me a whole lot more.

I've bought 1/2 and 1/2 before at the little stores but not at pop (never stayed there). When we stay at a non-dvc resort I usually just get a refillable mug and get my coffee that way. Just easier. Not as good, but easier.
