I just spoke to my FIL. DH's grandmother has been moved to a rehab facility, but she's not really eating anymore. She'll feed herself for a little bit, and eat some when she's fed, but she's almost at the point where she's refusing food. She's on oxygen, and that's about as "life saving" as they'll get with her because she's a DNR. My FIL doesn't think she's coming home. I'm glad I went to see her on Saturday.

Thanks guys. Now I have to figure out what/how to tell my DH. This is the hard part about him being away.

Is there any way he could come home briefly?

Whew! Got rid of the countdown, my monkey is back!

I only see his top half and everyone elses signatures that are long are cut off.

Not with his R&R so close. They would have a coverage issue. They're also in the process of starting up more bases, so there's a bit of a shortage as it is. He saw her before he left - made it a point, just in case (though at the time she was completely healthy, just old).
