OK, trying to figure out this whole flight mess. I cannot find any coordinating flights.

Selfish my big fat fanny You have every right to be worried about your mom and disappointed that you may not make the cruise you've looked forward to for so long. The two are not mutually exclusive! What's the plan of action? Any idea how soon they might know something? Did the Dr. give any clues as to what he thinks you're dealing with? Do you have other family in the area to take the kids so they can still see grandma?

Thank you Shug. I just finished crying again. Unfortunately we have no family here. Mom is in Atlanta. Dad is in Atlanta. (divorced) Sister is over near Teo in Alabama. Dsis said she could come with her baby and 2 year old, but couldn't get here until Monday. So we have to cover from Saturday to Monday. So I ask Dad. He's not sure. They have an appointment to have some carpet put in. The appointment was made like 2 months ago. Whatever. He is the most undependable person on Earth. (understatement! Excuses, excuses!) What a jerk!

As for mom, it's ischemia. Why she has it though, they have no idea. There are several causes. She has blood work in the morning. She has to have an appointment with an ENT just to rule out stuff regarding the vertigo. Then she has to set up an appointment with a neurologist. She feels better know and not quite as worried. Her initial worry was dementia. That is her biggest fear.

HA! I have been told that I "have got to get these migraines under control".........um, yeah, as if they are a wayward puppy and I need only to buy the right leash/collar combo or hire a trainer. Geez, do these people think I WANT my head splitting open? I'm not on VACATION when I'm out sick you know!!!!

I am painting and the DH is wondering where dinner is this shall be an interesting nite

Merle, fifty gazillion things to get done tomorrow...in laws are coming this weekend, plus it's our neighborhood cleanup so I have to clean out the basement and haul everything upstairs for the boy scouts to pick up on Saturday and take away for me. (best $40 I can spend!)

By the way, for those of you who were not on MSN that night, Threep and I figured out that her husband grew up in the small neighborhood I live in now...how's that for a small world?
