I want to be someones

Please gett all the prayers, good thoughts, angels, spirits or whatever together for my family and I. My Mom found out tonight that she has lung cancer. They finally got some of the test results back and it came back positive. She did get to come home today though. At this point we don't know a whole lot. We don't know if this is a new cancer or if her breast cancer from 10 years ago has mestatisized. She will see the oncologist hopefully on the 19th and know more then. She says she is going to fight this and beat it. She beat cancer once, she can do it again. Now I just have to hold it together. I didn't do so well when I was on the phone with my mom.

My Caro. I'm so very sorry to hear about your mom. She will continue to be in my prayers.

It's amazing what how a group of people, most of which you cannot even put a face to, can mean so much to you. I agree completely with you, Frog. I can't imagine these past two years without you all.

Nutty, good news about Grandmom!


So I was really tired last night. Could have went to sleep at 8 o'clock but decided to get in bed and watch a movie.

I watched 'Disturbia" and was awake until midnight.

Morning! What a day yesterday. We had to be at court at 8:30. One girl pled out and owned up to her actions and truthfully I commend her for that. The other one hired a lawyer and choose to go to trial which we did. In the end she was found not guilty but boy did that judge chew her a new one. But by following the letter of the law his hands were tied. I take solace in the fact though that she got a good tongue lshing and she and/or parents ended up paying boocu bucks for the lawyer. We have decided to go ahead and file a civil suit against the kids. So I'll have to start looking into all that.

After that we went out for a nice lunch and then I got a call from my son at college and he was having a meltdown. Just really stressed out, unhappy with his roommates, no money, no job, typical college stuff. So DH and I drove over to spend some time with him. We took him grocery shopping. I spent more on him than I usually spend on my family for a week but that will last him for some time. He needed some mommy hugs he said.

I'm supposed to bowl this morning and then go to work but I am so tired, I really just want to go back to bed.

Haven't read back much but Caro I'll keep your mom in my prayers! My dad beat lung cancer and he was given 6-12 months. If your mom has done it once than she can do it again!

Conc, that was sweet. Did you just now take that picture? It always makes me feel better. No matter how many times I go to the Magic Kingdom, I always get that happy feeling when I see the castle from across the water.

We went to MK for a half day or so a couple of weeks ago with my sister and the kids, and they wanted to take the monorail over to the park. We ALWAYS take the ferry over (because it makes me ), but we took the monorail. It just wasn't the same for me.

P89, it's been really yucky here the last few days, too. Rainy and gross, but sooooo much cooler.
