OK...Connor potty story
So you know we're struggling with the potty training with the boy. He turned 3 in July and we're still struggling.
He's getting much better.
So when we went to Philly a couple of weeks ago we stopped for lunch at the travel plaza to break up the trip. During lunch, DS said he had to go. A good thing. He had waited to long and WENT. A bad thing. He had on a pull up instead of underwear. A good thing.
So anyway, I took him to the bathroom to go potty. I pulled down his pants and put him on the toilet. Just as he sat down, the toilet auto-flushed, really hard.
So Connor was

and then yelled at the top of his little boy lungs..."Get me OUTA here mommy!!!!!" and jumped off the toilet. He then began yelling over and over "I SCARED MOMMY, I JUST SOOO SCARED MOMMY, I GOTTA GET OUTA HERE MOMMY, GET ME OUTA HERE MOMMY, I JUST SO SCARED MOMMY!" I reasoned, I cajoled, I re-flushed, nothing worked. They had to hear him outside he was so loud. I had to get him on the toilet to pee, but he was terrified.
Finally, I got him to stand on my feet, which were luckily encased in
crocs, and pee standing up. So that is the story of Connor and the monster potty.
