Prayers for my Mom, please. andrew just got a call from a good friend of my Mom's to tell him she has pneumonia. The friend, Linda is a nurse with Kaiser and is taking her to the clinic and is hoping they'll admit her. I'm guessing my Mom went to the doctor yesterday, because Linda says she is worse today. I'm not sure if I'll be going down there yet or not, I'll have to see what's up and how she is. I'm scared and worried. she's 75 years old and not in horrible health, but not in the best of health either.

Good morning.

I found out some sad news this morning. Before I got the position in Radiation, I worked in our ICU for 11 yrs. The dil of one of the nurses I worked with was involved in a road rage incident. She was run down by the other driver when she got out of her car. She was on life support but died yesterday. She has an 11 month old baby girl and was 3 months pregnant. Isn't that awful?

Hi to all...typical crazy Saturday morning here....cleaned both kids rooms, cleaned the kitchen, fed the kids, off to Target for school supplies, back, made lunch and threw everyone (including myself) in bed.

So I think I did something dumb. With all the stress I've been under lately with Connor being sick again and my mom being diagnosed and my dad's circulation thing and DH's aunt dying, my body is starting to fight back. I told my husband about some problems I had yesterday with an elevated heart rate. He kinda freaked on me and told me that I was to call on Monday for a doctor's appointment or he would make one for me. He knows I haven't been feeling well and I had some health issues I never followed up on a couple of years ago. I haven't said anything here either, 'cause I know you all would also tell me to go to the doctor and I just don't have the time to do anything about it.

Anyway, guess I have to do something now.

I had a scare this week, I have yet to write about it, that is why I was not really around for a couple of days, I have to call the Dr on Monday for an appt also

I know that I have to get it checked out...I'm pretty sure the stress is just giving me minor panic attacks...but my Heart Rate was at about 160 yesterday at one point. I had a thyroid issue in the past and I'm wondering if the cyst isn't growing and I'm starting to get the effects. I've also had really bad hot flashes, but it's been hot! I've had some chest pain, but it's after exercise of some sort (walking up stairs or walking outside). I have asthma and when I get tight it feels like chest pain.

My doctor left the practice, so I need a new doctor. I think that's holding me up as much as anything else. It's so dang awkward to see people medically when you interact with them professionally.
