Thank you guys.......... while we're on the subject, he's also been picked to go to camp. They pick the top 50 6th graders (hmmm, I realize I've been saying 8th, when I meant 7th, trying to make my boy a year older than he is)..........anyway, they pick the top 50 6th graders to camp for a week in OK and they don't have to make up their work, no cost to the parents. They do traditional camp things and also lots of science/environmental things. He and one of his closest friends were both chosen.

His father and I are very proud of him. I'll stop bragging now.

You brag all you want to, PaigeyPoo. That's a big deal, and besides, this is where we all come to brag on our kids, isn't it?

Zach is not continuing sax next year when he goes to high school. I tried to convince him, but he did not want to do it. I think it's a great way to adjust to high school and meet a bunch of people, but what do I do? Alyssa did it for 9th and 10th grade and then quit and Ben only did band through 6th grade. At least Zach has his sports--the only jock of my 3 older kids.

Jake is picking out his fantasy baseball team right now. I'm so not ready for that to start--My DH, Jake, and Zach have so many teams between them.

oh wow, i just feel terrible. i feel like my head could explode at any time, and to make it worse I'm having allergies and coughing and sneezing is making it unbareable. I know I just probably mispelled that word. So sorry. Ugh.

I know, T, Thing1 quit sports last year, so I'm trying to get him to keep SOMETHING...........of course, now he's asking me to get him signed up for ballroom dance...........he had wanted hip hop and I didn't have the money, and now it's ballroom..........

We're back from Broadway. Drowsy Chaperone was a lot of fun; very light, musical comedy!!! Now we are making dinner - angel hair pasta with marinara sauce and chile shrimp over spinach.

I am so embarassed. I have been emailing back and forth with my friend for the last hour, and said stuff I would never ever have said to her husband, and now I found out she's been asleep the whole time and it was him pretending to be her! I can't believe he did that!
