Im, you might want an IV of coffee. I need the same...couldn't get to sleep last night and then I woke up early this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. Things on my mind and I will pay for this later when I'm sleepy, but can't take a nap.

It is hard to tell who a child is in the swimming pics! Thanks for the compliments. I really need to sign Jake up for some lessons now if he's going to do swim team this summer--he's going to be way slow since he hasn't been in the water at all.

My son is on the winter swim team right now. Hopefully it will help for the summer team.

I'm sure it will! Jake likes swimming ok, but it's not what he really likes to do. I think he'll be more into the social aspect of it. He did pre-team at our local pool this summer and was able to swim in a couple regular meets. I don't know how I enjoy the swim team sub-culture (my other kids weren't into it, other than my DD on the high school team). As of now, he plays a different sport every season--I'm not letting him get too into one sport like Zachary did at this age (Zach got way involved in baseball). Jake plays baseball in Spring, soccer in Fall, and basketball in Winter.

Swim team was one of the variety of sports that DD tried out through her childhood, but sadly, she has her parents' athletic abilities (or lack thereof ), so in the end she just stuck with music.

Some of the others were t-ball, basketball, and soccer - same story on all of those. One season worth and then it was, "ok, what shall we try this year?"

My son really loves to swim..and he did very well for his first year last summer. He won a heat race...and he came in second overall a couple of times for his backstroke and third for his front.

He is wanting to take tae kwon do now ( he took it for a year...a couple years ago) so I am thinking about that.

Good morning ladies. I'm being lazy today. Decieded to forgo church today. I spent all day yesterday cleaning doing laundry and running errands and I am exhausted! I told frog I wanted a day just to relax and rest. Our work has picked up tremendously and are booked up through the end of the month or more.

Roadie, Dh went last night to get a new bowling ball and have it drilled. I asked him why since the season is over in May and he swore he wasn't bowling anymore. He says so he can bowl with you this summer so I guess he's in and he forgot to tell me He says he much prefers to bowl with people who don't take it so seriously. He'd rather bowl between drinks than drink between bowling Remember though, I can't bowl with my shoulder and wrist so if it's a foursome team you'd still need another. If it's a doubles team, do you know anyone who needs a partner? God, I so wish I was talking about that kind of bowling When he drinks, home bowling is out of the question. Hermie passes out long before he does
