LOL, I am thinking the same thing!

When you buy your ' new ' shirt (yes most of these are the ones that you got free when you created your character ) this is a ' vote ' for your character of choice!
Edit: Black shirt=Vote Dragon, White=Vote Yeti, Red=Vote Esmeralda, Teal=Vote Ned, Grey=Vote Pirate

The shirts are now labelled with the characters names. They say "Vote for Yeti", etc.

Yes and it does not surprise me that people are giving out the wrong information....I was just in there and they (the vmk'ers, not staff) are telling everyone red is for pirate....etc...I told them all to read at the top which they are voting for.....others are telling people to just get a shirt you already have, in the color you are voting for and just wear it.....I did tell them it will not count towards the vote...

Still I hope the captain wins...lol

I wonder really if and how they will count them. From the information it appeared it would be by number of sales. Would it not have made more sense to have characters on the shirts? Ned has a shirt, The Jolly Rodger shirt could have been the Pirate if they weren't going to do new ones as it indicated they would not. I guess they decided if they all could not have individual shirts then they would give them all lame shirts that no one would otherwise wear. I know no one can expect to accurately count the number of people actually wearing the shirts.

In my opinion, they had you re-sign in so that when you purchased the t-shirt they would have an exact count...lol no one is going to wander around the site counting....I would quit before that happened if I worked there....and yes each could of had their own shirt but they were not ready to go this morning upon opening to begin with so it was less work for them...
