I just wanted to say that this is the VMK section of the Dis Boards, and anybody that feels as pasionate about the game as we all do should want for it to stay open. If it was not for VMK this board would never have been created. I doubt that this board will stay open if VMK closes. So we are also fighting for our own little section of the DisBoards. I guess they could rename it the VMK Refugee Board....

I wish you well in your new VMK Free life.


Fly - Fighting till the end!

Well I have 2 things to say..
First ...this is still Disboards, not Save VMK boards, so if you want to fight to save something that you love and believe in so be it but dont berate someone else for not having that same passion. To some this was "Just a game" to others it was a "way of life"
we can all equally get along here protesting for the game to stay or not.

Second. I have to say that since the vmk closing announcement/me getting banned I have gotten my life back! My husband and I spend so much more time together and with our kids. Now I know there are many out there with nobody, and if VMK is your outlet to the outside world then I think that is great. I sent in my letters and Emails and did what *I* thought was my part to help save VMK but I am not going to hound Disney every single day to keep a virtual community open. And again that is FINE for some of you to do I am not knocking anyone for trying, I am actually very impressed at the gusto that you people still ahve to save the game.

But the break in playing made me realize that I spent far too much time with my pixilated friends and not enough with the flesh and blood kind.

So in closing, for those that wish to keep fighting, RIGHT ON! and for those that have accepted that VMK is closing and decided to focus their energy elsewhere..RIGHT ON! to you too

I think some of the discussions in this thread stem from just some simple miscommunication. The title says "Are you really fighting?" but the actual poll says "Do you really want VMK to stay open?" Two very different questions. My answer to both questions is yes.

No one has any right to say anyone else is crazy or their actions are crazy, regardless of if they are fighting or not fighting for VMK to stay open. Well, sure, you have the "right," but saying things like that is not respectful. We all take things differently and act on things or do not act on things differently. That doesn't mean anyone here is wrong.

But yes, I want the game to stay open and am fighting for it to do so. It means too much to me for me to not write, email, etc.

I agree on all that you wrote. This thread wa strated as "Are you really Fighting" and recently changed to the current topic. That makes it look like whoever voted Yes that they are still fighting are saying Yes they want VMK to close, which isn't two totally different things and they didn't mean when they first did the poll.
Yes, everyone is entitle to their opinion and one should respect it.

While this isn't a public poll, I don't feel it is fair to those that participated to change the title of the thread and thus the title and meaning of the poll.

For the record this thread and this poll originally asked: "Are you fighting to keep VMK open?"

While it may seem similar, it certainly is not. Regardless, changing a poll midstream is in no way fair you ask it closed and start a new poll.
