Pluto loses his mind and goes nuts at Disneyland!!!

What happened immediately before 'Pluto' started chasing the child? Maybe that is what set 'Pluto' off. Of course, Youtube probably does not have that part of the video on file.

'Pluto' relaxed as soon as the woman accosted him, and held up his 'paws' in a "surrender" position and stopped chasing the child. Not really the stuff of nightmares.

I hate it when people post this stuff (on YouTube or wherever). I worked in entertainment, and most of us would never ever do something like this. But people think it is good to post these videos and gives us all a bad rap. While it seems that it was not done in play, I do wonder what happened, was Pluto hit? It doesn't make what he did right, but it does make it more understandable.

I had a 13 year old boy hit me as hard as he could in the back of the head one day. It gave me a migraine, I immediately left set. (I may even have stormed off, I don't think so but I was definitely not thinking clearly at the time.) Sadly, guests think it is okay to beat us up, they don't realize how badly they can hurt us. My guess is something like that happened. I do hope the person was talked to and something was done about the incident.

To me it looks lie it was all done in fun, the kid that was chased looked fine at the end and went back to the mom.

This has been circulated here before. I think it was found out the boy had hit Pluto.

On a couple of the other links in the que when you watch that one, it said that the kid had kicked Pluto before being chased. Hard to say if it was an angry or kinda playful reaction. Personally, I don't think I could deal with being a costumed character. I'd want to smack little Bobby upside the head if I got kicked. :lmao:

Yes, this came up here about a year ago. I had to wonder where Pluto's handler was.

Kids who would hit or kick a character (or anyone) and the parents who failed to raise them properly should be ejected from the parks for life. As much as we don't like to see the characters react badly, they shouldn't be accosted in any way.

Where's PETA when you really need them? :rolleyes1

My kids would be thrilled if Pluto chased them around like that!
