I'm really stuggling to find stuff to wear on my walks. Right now I'm living in a couple pairs of Lane Bryant sweats (2 capri length, 1 full length) and I do not have a sports bra in the correct size (Squeezing into ones I picked up at Target.)

I've found a few things online, including some non-cotton based clothes (really important to have synthetics while sweating over long distances...cotton=chafing  ), but are there secret places I haven't looked yet (I found Champion and some different stuff on Lane Bryant). I also saw a site called Junonia--any experiance with them?

any leads are greatly appriciated :)

Lane Bryant now sells sports bras and workout clothes. Lane Bryant is the store I shop at so I like and wear their stuff. It fits me well. Their workout line is very cute !

When I started my journey, I used the Lane Bryant "sausage-style" pants and liked them.

I've had difficulty with bra-chaffing and have just invested in the pink Enell bra that Oprah always praises. (Enell. com) It is expensive, but it comes in many sizes and the one I am using I will judge while participating in the Minnie weekend in a couple of weeks. So far it seems like a worthy expense, but I need at least 2 so I am waiting until I get that second one. I used the Champion and Moving Comfort and became quite chaffed in the event I did in January, and it is not fun. However I used those styles through the summer and I sweat a lot, so maybe it is just time for me to get new since I've worn out the bras I used.

I hope someone has ideas about clothes that might work for the larger need. It is certainly frustrating to find something to wear to help do what it is that is needed to be done. There must be other opportunities for sure.

I have found some nice workout cloths at Avenue and even Wal-Mart at times.

I found some Champion workout plus size stuff on jms.com. It is frustrating to not be able to find comfortable workout gear.

I have tried some Junonia clothing. Yes it is expensive, but let me tell you... it is SO worth it. I even buy their clothes for regular wearing (when I can afford it). Like I have their bootleg cut pants and they are so comfy that I wear them all the time.

Just a little hint, though. Their pants come a little long, but they will shrink length-wise after a few washings. :thumbsup2

Huge fan of junonia here! I use a pair of wicking underwear & wicking compression shorts (with a modified running skirt over them to hide my bumps and bulges ;) ) I highly recommend those items. I also have a pair of the shorts with the built in bike shorts under regular shorts and found they didn't fit quite the same. The bike shorts aren't quite long enough -- I would chafe further down my thighs, closer to the knee -- and the shorts are kind of billowy or baggy so that they aren't flattering on me. I also have two of their wicking shirts and LOVE the fit on them. Very feminine but just cut larger.
Like someone else said -- the clothes are expensive but well worth every penny. Even though the clothes are too large now that I've lost a lot of pounds, but I still wear them because they are such great quality!

I get most of my comfy workout clothes at Walmart. I'm usually a Lane Bryant/Old Navy kind of gal, but their stuff isn't as practical (even if they call it "active-wear";) ). Most of the stuff at Walmart is Hanes, I believe.
