Plus size shopping

The only plus size items I have been able to find are shirts,T-shirts,etc. I have never been able to fine shorts,jeans,pants in plus sizes. Does Disney think that us large people don't want to wear Mickey on our butts??

I have seen the women's pants up to a 2x (22/24) in any of the shops that carry the larger shirts. I haven't seen any larger than that.

You always have the option of an iron-on Mickey if you can't find what you want pre-made.

I've found that women's style 2X t-shirts fit better than the regular style 2X t-shirts. The regular style is long and they don't fit over my hips. I also have found that they shrink so I wash them in cold water and drip dry.

I am a huge Disney T-shirt fanatic, probably have about 25 of them, that doesn't count the ones that I finally got rid of because of yrs of use and washings have develop small holes (favorite was the one with the main characters hats and mouse ears, Alien encounter, and even the Castle as a birthday cake t-shirt). Over the past 18 months I have noticed that Disney's size 2X is getting smaller. When I compare them to T-shirts that I bought 2 yrs ago there is a big difference. Even if the store you are going into does not have a dressing room hold it up to yourself to make sure it will fit. I have 3 t-shirts that I didn't do that with and they sit in my drawer unused because they are a little tighter than I like. I like a loose shirt. I have to wonder if Disney switch who their supplier is. Do they go with the lowest bids? Disney store has t-shirts but I think the quality at WDW is so much better. Plus I love the ones that represents the rides, you just can't get those anywhere else. Good Luck

Over the past 18 months I have noticed that Disney's size 2X is getting smaller.

I noticed this too and it is VERY annoying. And it also depends on what you buy. A 2X sweatshirt might be fine, even a little big, but a 2X t-shirt is too small. I also wish Disney would go back to using the better quality t-shirts like they used to. When I compare t-shirts I bought at WDW from just a couple years ago to what they have now, there is quite a big difference quality wise. It seems like now the t-shirts are all the thin cheapy brand. As if they don't charge enough now, but I'd still be willing to pay more for better quality.

I usually get a 2x as I am between an XL and 2x just depending on who makes it I guess plus when I must stoop to wear a t-shirt LOL I like them bigger. I looked at the 2x in all the stores and just kept thinking how BIG they look. I opted for a Tink shirt at the Contemporary (couldnt decide Which shirt no matter where I looked!!) and went with XL....PLENTY big enough!! I am thinking that is why a lot of them stop at 2x as they just seem roomy. I am glad to see some places carry the 3x and up though...I hate to see shops that stop at XL!!

I hope the sizing is better than the disney online store. I ordered the xl logo tank, that was supposed to be a 18-20 way to small, so I ordered the 2x mickey tank and it was even smaller than the xl. I will def be trying them on while in the world. From our 03 trip I have about 8 xl shirts most of them are the same, however some are way smaller and one is actually a lot bigger

I find the sizes in the store on line to be significantly smaller than those at the world.
