Are all of the rides at Universal "plus size friendly" besides the kiddie rides?

Great question. As a size 22 some rides at our local amusement park are a tight squeeze. One ride I was told I might not be able to ride because the bars might not securely close over my ample chest :teeth: I did ride it but I was on a work outing and it was quite embarressing!!!

As a BBW I look forward to comfortably riding the rides at IOA/US.

On the Hulk and Dueling Dragons rollercoasters, there is a seat in row 6 that will comfortably fit over a larger chest. Before I knew about the seat I wouldn't ride them because I didn't like the safety harness smashing into me (it was difficult to breathe). the only thing I don't ride in either park is Dr Doom and that's just because I'm a wuss girl :)

Have a great time!

Thanks for the info! I now don't have to worry about going and "fitting" in the rides; I'm a 20/22.

I have to share a heartbreaking story... We were on Jimmy Nuetron yesterday all buckled in and ready to go, when someone made an annoucement for the attendents to check one of the vehicles. The lights when on and the attendant went up the stairs to a very large man seated with him family. I didn't want to stare, so I didn't hear everything, but he obviously didn't fit. The attendant said something about trying again, but he obviously didn't want to hold the show up any longer and said no, he would just wait outside. The attendant told him he could ride in the stationary seating up front, but he said he would just wait for his family outside. He had to get up and walk all the way down the stairs and must have decided to do the stationary seating because he sat down there.

I just found this heartbreaking for the man and his family. The attendants were nice and I'm sure they would have kept trying to lower the lap bars (they all lower at once) to see if he fit, but It just would have taken time and drawn even more attention to him and his family. Just a heads up for those that are interested.
