Plug in fragrance bulbs at Bath & Body Works sale

Just bought two of these air freshners, with 3 pkgs of refills. They are half price at 6/each. Has anyone used them, and are they very good? I usually buy my air freshners at the dollar store, but they only last for a week or two. Do these do a good job, and do they last the full 6-8 weeks that's mentioned on the box, or did I overspend on these? I forgot the brand- it's something Candle.

Yes I have used them and really like them! Not sure if they last as long as advertised, however they have the best scents in my opinion.

Does it look like a flower on the top and sort of a christmas light bulb shape on the bottom? If so, I've been using them for about 9 months. They do last that long, and they will put out enough fragrance for the room they're in. I have one in my kitchen and one in a bedroom. I try to buy them when they're on sale.
I love the crisp linen (that's the name or something close to it).

The plug-in type are called Wallflowers and they do last that long in our house. I also liked the 2 pear scents (Pearberry & Barlett Pear) and we have tried the sheer freesia (Dh said too flowery) and the black raspberry one and we liked it too. When they have a really good sale they are $5 each but $6 is not bad either!

I love them--they're all over my house. They're the only plug-in air fresheners that don't make me sneeze, wheeze or have an allergy attack! They smell great and last at least 6 weeks. My favs are: Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, Kitchen Spice and Juniper Breeze.

I heading over to B&BW tomorrow to stock up!

A family's house burnt down in the area and the insurance agent said that these things can cause fires, but are hard to track as the source because they melt away, but some have metal in them and have been proven to cause fires. I used to love these things, but won't take the chance any more. Just a heads up.

The Wallflowers are the only ones that don't contain metal, the Glade and Airwick brands do. We lost everything we possessed in a house fire when my son was 6 months old (8 years ago) and I research things like this before bringing them into my home. I was assured that they do not contain metal besides the actual prongs that fit into the outlet.

BTW--our house fire? Started by a brand-new (defective) surge supressor! You just never know!

I love these, and buy them whenever they are on sale. I find that they usually last about six weeks.

My favorite is Shore Breeze, it is the only one I can actually smell.
Aren't there 2 vs. 3 in the refills? If you have 3 in yours we are getting ripped off in Big D.
If my scent is fading I shoot the spray in the room and together they seem to last. That's my helpful hint for the night.

I have been stocking up on Wallflowers all week. My store is sticking to the limit 4 posted on the signs. They are great for my son's room. It smells like all boy in there (you know what I mean).

The scents are very subtle but mask the "boy/hermit crab" smells very well. My favorite is Coconut Lime Verbena.

Oh my gosh! I didn't know the Wallflowers were on sale! Thanks for posting this...I went the first day of the sale and bought some stuff, but I didn't see anything posted about the Wallflowers. I'm gonna have to go tomorrow and get some more.

I use the Wallflowers too, but I have had to buy new units because mine stopped working after about 6 months. I noticed that there was no scent in the room. When I put in the new unit (with the old bulb), it worked fine. Just to let you know that they don't last forever...

I'm glad you posted this. I have had these and when they ran out I left them plugged in, not even thinking about it. One day I looked at them and saw that the wick was singed so I immediately unplugged them. I haven't used them since.

I did the same thing, but mine had a burnt smell. I went through the house looking for the smell and it was coming from the wallflower. The wick was singed just like yours. They seem OK as long as you don't leave them plugged in once they run out, but maybe I better start unplugging them when we leave or go to sleep. That does make me a little nervous.

I did stop by B&BW today and bought 2 refills. They were out of linen so I bought Moonlit Path. I hope it smells good. I also bought a new car freshener. I lost mine somehow and I still have the warm candy apple (my favorite holiday scent) refills for it. I can't wait to put it in my car!!
