Hi all!

I am planning a trip to IOA in the beginning of December- can you tell me about Grinchmas and give me any tips on enjoying it?? My DH and DS are the ultimate Grinch fans-

I havent been to IOA before so this is all new to me!!

Thanks!
Lisa

Grinchmas is held in the Seuss Landing island. Best to visit the Grinchs' Lair earlier in the day to get your photo with the "movie" Grinch, before big crowds get there. (wear a Disney shirt for best results!)

In the afternoon there are skits performed in front of the big who-Christmas tree. Last skit, around 5ish, lights the tree. Many who-characters wander thru-out Seuss Lndg. all day.
"Cartoon" Grinch around alot too.

After dark is the prettiest sight. Good time to ride the Caroseussal.
It's a great time of year that ya'll are going, have a wonderful time!

Also, for Grinchmas, they open Mt. Crumpet which is an ice slide that you go down in a tube. Lines can be long for this so it's something else you'll want to do early.

It also "snows" in Seuss Landing at various times during the day and always during the Whobilation.

We always get to IOA at park opening no matter what time of year we go. Grinchmas is the only season when we head for Seuss Landing immediately after riding the Hulk, Doom and Spiderman. This way you can slide down Mt. Crumpet and see the Grinch in his lair without the crowds.

Have fun!

h20jag - You just made my day ! - I am so glad to hear you say that the 'movie' Grinch is still alive and well !! I have been telling my nephew how he is going to meet him and then on our trip in August I saw the cartoon Grinch out and about. I thought, OH NO! - they replaced the 'movie' Grinch (he was sooo awesome !!). Now I know there's hope that we'll get to see the one we want in Dec. !!!

Anyone know which Grinch is at the character breakfast?

We bought a copy of the book right there in Seuss Landing and had him sign it for us, then took a pic of the grinch with the book and taped it into the front of the book next to the autograph - it made a great gift for our nephew! - this time I want to do it again and keep the book for my grandkids (maybe I'll get in the pic, too)!:smooth:
