Pls recommend a hotel in gatwick

That is suitable for kids. Wanna book for night before and have never done this before, i think we are flying from south terminal. We will need transfer to airport as not taking car.

If one of the Gatwick-based hotels is not suitable (or within your price range), try the Gatwick Manor hotel. We stayed there the first time we went and it was great. They've got a separate pub.restaurant with play area for the kids outside. There was a transfer bus to the airport (cost £4 each, I think) but we just got a taxi which cost us £10.

i was thinking of this one as we have stayed at preimer inn's before.
How far is it from South Terminal and do they do transfer's. Do you think it suitable for kids.

We've booked to stay at the Gatwick Worth http://www.gatwickworthhotel.co.uk/

It was £130 for a quad family room, includes breakfast and 15 days parking. There are transfers availble at £4 per person (includes return journey) but it is subject to availability. We will probably just get a taxi.

Prem lodge is ideal for kids, Ive been using this hotel for my family DW,DD(4),DS(3) .the past few yrs and will be again in 2 weeks , all family rooms are on the ground floor, rooms are clean and ideal for a nites stay,

Its great value for money, having stayed at the holiday inn, ramada inn, few years back I think this hotel is the best of the lot.

Does the preimer do transfer's or is it easier to get taxi. I was hoping to do the twlight check in but prob won't be able to do that if hotel to far away from airport. We are being dropped off so we wont have transport.

I like Little Foxes as it is good value, nice staff and you get a good breakfast. Taxi is £10 ish to the airport.

Premier Inn does do transfers-we used last year. Did twilight check-in, went down to bus area, they have a board that shows all the hotels and which bus-stop to stand at. I think Premier Inn's buses were every 20 mins-we didn't wait long. Only on bus 5 mins, plenty of room. Hotel confirmed bus times for next morning. All went very smoothly. Nice clean rooms (not very big but that wasn't a problem for one night), Quick check-in/check-out procedure, nice bar-meal in the evening, good breakfast buffet etc.

We've used several 'Gatwick Hotels' this was by far the best (apart from those at Gatwick-Hilton etc, but half the price of that!) & one of the cheapest
