I'm still a bit confused by this. Any help/clarification is appreciated!

This is the scenario - we use our 3 scheduled FP+'s for the day. We leave after lunch to go back and swim at the hotel.

We decide to go to a different park with our hopper pass for the evening. Can we make FP+ reservations at a kiosk when we arrive for FP+ 4, 5, etc?

Or do all subsequent FP+ reservations need to be at the original park where FP+ 1-3 were?

After you use all of the initial FastPass+ experiences on the day of your visit (or your arrival windows have passed), you can select one additional FastPass+ experience to use that same day (based on availability). The additional FastPass+ experience is a rolling FastPass+ experience—each time you use an additional FastPass+ experience, you can select a new one.

Additional FastPass+ selections must be made at a FastPass+ kiosk within the same park as the FastPass+ experience that you wish to select, and they can be made at a different park from your previous selections.

1. Yes. In fact, that's the only way to do it at the moment.

2. No.

The only thing I'm confused about is what I should pick while at the kiosk?

Will the kiosk only show me 3 or 4 suggested options like the MDE app does? Is the best way to find the attraction/time you want just to pick something and then search for a better time on your phone? Or will the kiosks show you the earliest booking time for whatever attraction you select?

I'm pretty sure that's not how it's sorted, but it would be really nice to see the earliest available FP for all attractions.

That is a good question. I would hope that they would list the earliest available time for an attraction, but who knows because MDE does not do that.

Are most experiences in that same park available or are they limited to certain tiers?

I'm at WDW now (taking a breaking after arriving at MK at 5:30am). When you go to the kiosk, it shows you a list of attractions. You pick the one you are interested in and it will then list the times available. I wish it showed the time available next to each one on the list rather than having to make a selection and then see available times.

I agree. Something like "next 3 available fast passes are........"

Exactly. There are many things that I would like to do, but I want a FP for the one I can get earliest. Perhaps they do it this way to give legacy FP super-users an advantage somewhat.

If they simply gave you the earliest FP for every attractions, then there would be less immediate availability for people willing to book at the kiosk and then change on their phone.

Is this possible? Am I understanding this correctly - anything (even #s 4, 5, 6 FPs can be changed on the phone after booking at the kiosk?

That's what people have been saying. At least this first week they implemented the rolling 4th FP. I haven't seen anything about it since then.

I can confirm that. I changed my 5th from POTC to Jungle Cruise on my phone.

Question ...
Does everyone have to goto the Kiosk to book the next pass or can just one member go ???
We have a party of 6 going in June and we usually do a park in the morning, then go swimming and then to a different park that night. If one person in our party goes to the park we will be visiting that night can they try to get passes for something for everyone ???

WHAAAATTTT? That is good info to know. I change my FP's a lot over the phone but didn't know that you could change the additional ones per the phone too. I don't like having to make a decision with a ton of people standing in line waiting for me, so it's good that I can just choose one quickly and then see through the app if there's something better that I want.

Can you switch it to a different park after it is booked? If we take a 2 hour lunch break, I'd rather have it set up before we break without having to hop first then break

When I was there last week I had to run to Epcot to get a fp at Epcot. The rest of my group headed home while I did that. Was able to get soarin for everyone (they only had entered magic kingdom). I did voice my displeasure being unable to book at Epcot from magic kingdom because it's silly that I had to go all the way over there. Oh well. Still worked out fine. Have a great trip.

Why were you displeased because you had to go to EPCOT to book an EXTRA fast pass? It is only fair to allow the extra fast passes in a park to be available ONLY to those folks in that park. If they didn't, everyone would hurry up use their fast passes at whatever park they are at then try to book the headliners at the next park that they plan on going to that night. Folks, there are thousands of people in those parks, all hoping to get those fast passes. I know many folks here go often to WDW and only do certain attractions in each park and hop a lot. Think about those families that are either on their first trip or don't get to go often. The May only have 1 day in a park, and I'm sure they would like to get to ride the headliners more than once.

If you are going to park hop, then you should have to be at that park to schedule your bonus fast passes

There is a thread on here that says you can go to your hotels concierge (on site hotels that is) and book your 4th fp from there, so maybe it can be done from there instead of inside the second park.

Is it possible then to change from for example the Jungle Cruise extra fp+ you made in MK to Soarin on your phone then??

Come on now. How is me having to go to that park and get the fastpass any different than my current location to be mk with plans to go to Epcot later. There is a reason that it costs more to park hop and it's a computer limitation which I was told over and over again they will be fixing. There are only so many fastpasses you are right...but why should anyone be limited to what is currently available?? It's not like I was asking to have 5 fp scheduled to start...and it's not like I was going to take a fp for a times couldnt use it. I still got the fastpasses and it wasn't a huge deal to take the monorail over...it's just a silly limitation that's why I voiced my displeasure
