That makes sense and it's certainly understandable.

But considering how many of us dishonest right-wingers are just as appalled as the always truthful left, telling us to lighten up when it appeared that you were implying that we were okay with an assasination attempt is kinda silly.

Two nut jobs get caught with a plan that includes robbing a bunch of gun stores, killing 88 people and then ultimately targeting Obama, and it becomes a "race issue"? These jerks got caught before they pulled off one step of their crime and yet, they become the "symbol" of "race" for the Obama camp? Please.

They planned on killing 88 black people. They were white supremist..Yes that's a hate group and the issue for them in this case was race.

Unfortunately, no matter who is president, there are always nutjobs (and "professionals") out to cause harm or kill him/her. I think we'd all be shocked if we knew even HALF of the threats to the President every single day. The secret service does an amazing job protecting high-level government officials!

I am very glad that these whackos were caught and I hope they get the absolute maximum the legal system can throw at them.
