Okay, like many others, we're doing a Star Wars WDW trip in just over a month. While we're not planning on attending the midnight premiere of the new/last Star Wars movie, "Revenge of the Sith", we DO very much want to see it at some point on it's May 19th release day at the AMC at Pleasure Island.

I read today that the fandango website will have the tix for sale starting April 20th...but their website says they don't sell tix to the Pleasure Island AMC. I then went to the AMC website and couldn't find info on when they'll start selling the tix...and I'm not sure where on their site you CAN buy advance tix...is it through the MovieTickets link? Sadly, that site keeps freezing up my computer!

I just want to be ready because I'm sure those tickets for that day are going to sell out very fast!

Thanks! (look for the Lime Green Ribbon on my backpack May 16-23!!!)

I'm sure that any day now they will be announcing a sale date on amctheaters.com or www.movietickets.com. I am checking daily since we plan on being at the midnight show and want to get tickets. You might call fandango to see if they do phone sales. You also might want to subscribe to the moviewatchers.com e-mail list in order to get the e-mail announcement about when tickets will go on sale. You will also save the service charge per ticket if you join their Moviewatchers Club. We have an AMC in our area and have been to the midnight shows of all threee Harry Potter films and the last two Star Wars films this way. I know it is tough to say, but keep checking back. We have never been able to get AMC tickets through fandango.com. Another source on up-to-date Star Wars movie infor is www.theforce.net. We will be wearing lime green May 18-22nd.

Okay, I've done all the signing-up necessities...just hoping that the movietickets.com site doesn't freeze when I'm actually trying to buy the tickets...along with 1,000s of others! :earseek:

Thanks!
Karla B.
