Pleasure Island question...

I made a few reservations for Raglan Road, Wolfgang Puck Cafe and Bongos for our upcoming trip. Can anyone tell me What Pleasure Island is like now that the nightclubs are all closed? Does it feel abandoned? Looking forward to trying these restaurants but want to know if it's safe. Thanks!

Totally safe! That's actually funny. It's just boring. But the restaurants are totally fine - nothing is "abandoned" like falling down or dangerous. And there's always lots of people walking through PI from one end of DTD to the other. There is also a cigar bar, a drink stand, Sammy Duval Curl, and maybe something else.

By the way, of what you listed, only Raglan Road is in PI. Wolfgang Puck & Bongo's are on the West Side.

Disney no longer wished to run them and intends to rent the space out to third parties. They haven't yet had enough takers to get the area fully stocked yet, and they've been through a couple of new development plans already.
