My wife and I will be enjoying our first weekend trip to WDW by ourselves for some time. We are going to have one plus option available on our ticket. We're not crazy about water parks. We're also not crazy about most of the entertainment available at PI. The only club that sounds interesting to us is the Pleasure Island Jazz Club. Is it worth going for 2 hours or so? We've never been to PI at all (simply not the "dancing" types!).

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Yes, it's definitely worth going for two hours or so. The type of jazz played differs from week to week, depending on who's there, but it's generally just nice, basic straight-ahead jazz. Lots of times there's a vocalist, or a vocal group, and there are some great soloists, particularly on weekends. The atmosphere is very laid-back, and it's a great club.

You might also get a kick out of The Adventurer's Club. It's kind of interactive comedy, but you can also just sit back and watch and enjoy without getting involved. The comedy is a bit more "eccentric" than at the Comedy Warehouse, and the interior of the Club is just fun to wander through.

The Adventurer's Club is a must see. I also think the Comedy Club is good. I enjoyed the Jazz Club, but I wouldn't want to do an entire night of it. You also have to be at the outdoor stage for the New Year's celebration (which is celebrated every night at midnight).

It really depends on who is performing. When Toxic Audio is performing about 1/2-2/3 of the people in the club will be there all night long because they are THAT good. They have 4 sets per night usually so you can catch 1 set and then enjoy another club. Personally, I find AC to be a bit overhyped but fun to visit for a few minutes and I really enjoy the Comedy Warehouse.
