pleasure island for teens?

We are plannning a trip to disney world around jan 1 with a 14 and 15 year old. Is pleasure island strictly for the over 21 crowd or could a couple of teens (adult supervised) have a good time as well? Also, anyone been to pleasure island on new years eve? Is it worth the $80 bucks or so admission?

They will have a blast! My DD 15 has been to PI several times in the past couple years and likes the shops there. There is a studio there that you can record your own music and music videos- she tries to do one every time she goes. Under 21 can not enter the clubs-but there is other stuff to see and do. Also, don't forget about the West-Side which has stores. They might enjoy going to Disney Quest-it is an added charge.
I don't know about New Years-I've never been, but I have heard it is a blast.

we went (we are adults) and unless you like to drink and dance (which the teens could do neither) we did'nt think there was much to it except the shops.

Yes, as long as they have an adult with them. We brought our 13 year old and his friend and they had a blast
