Pleasure Island during day with kids?

Is there anything worth taking them to Pleasure Island for during the day? Isn't this where the night clubs are...or is it 'hooked' to DQ and other things to do? Is there a cost for them during the day or does the adm only refer to evening during clubs?

I don't think it's open during the day. The time guide I have from last weekend shows Shops open 7pm-1am, Clubs 7pm-2am.

There is no longer an admission charge to walk through.

Disney Quest is not on Pleasure Island, it's on the West Side. DQ hours are 11:30am-11:00pm, 11:30pm on Fri & Sat.

You should be able to walk all the way through, but there's nothing to see during the day. Pleasure Island is in the middle of DD with the Marketplace (all of the shops) on one end and the West Side (DisneyQuest, Cirque, theaters, Virgin Megastore) on the other end.

It really is quite a long walk from one end to the other.

It's normally open to walk through to connect the two shopping areas. There isn't much to do during the day but the last time I went there were some boardwalk style games open like Frog Bog and such. Don't know if they're still there or not.

Yeah, I didn't think they would still keep it open... I haven't been during the day in years, so I figured they had changed it since then

Unless they changed this since January 5'th - No, The Island is closed off during the day.

It's then opened up at 7:00 for all guest traffic between the market place and the West Side.

During the day, you just need to take the bridge that empties out in front of Wetzel's Pretzels, which skirts just outside of PI.
