Hi there. A 2 part question if you will:
-Is there a dress code for anywhere on Pleasure Island?
-If not, what do people wear?

I am used to going clubbing in short skirts and quite clubby gear. Is this too over the top for PI? Would I be more at home in jeans?
Thanks for your help,
Claire

I have worn normal club gear, and one time I even got really dressed up and wore a black dress. You see a bit of everything- jeans to really dressed up. Wear what makes you the most comfortable. As long as you aren't wearing anything too extreme, I am sure it will be fine. Hope that helps!

It really is a true mix of fashion. More diverse than anywhere else I've ever been! There are "moms & dads" in shorts and tanks all the way to young people (got the impression it was the local club crowd rather than tourists) in VERY high fashion clothing. Some of the most beautiful people you've ever seen in your life are there along with the "average" looking set. Talk about people watch! The place is fascinating.

Yep, it is a huge mix, from the theme park folks, like me who come to Adventurer's Club after trudging the parks all day in shorts and my t-shirt, to the young adults dressed to the nines trying to impress their date.

Don't they have a rule against Midriff-baring tops, and require "appropriate foundation garments"? Oh wait, that was my high school. Never mind. :p

I'm actually wearing a silky, multi-colored wrap dress for our one night of clubbing. It had a 70's look and feel to it...couldn't pass it up! :sunny: I never go clubbing at home, so I wanted to go all out for vacation. Have fun!

Sunkissed, that sounds like my kind of dress. My top is a silky dip-dyed looking top in coffee colour with a lace trim, vest style. Looks very good with my denim mini-skirt. Thats why I asked the question. Anyone else care to share PI fashions?

I think anything goes. I usually just go to the AC so I wear jeans and a tee shirt. I don't even own any clubby clothes.

I'm sure a skirt and tank top would be fine.

Fizz -

Gotta make the hubby remember why he came on this trip, right?! ;)

I think short skirts and silky tops are required :smooth: :earseek:
