Yes it's me. I'm a "temp" for a bit.

So tell me, did those pins ever catch on?? You know, those little metal shiny things that Disney thought people would want to wear around their necks??

Debi, I think those are the ones.

A few years ago, when we were having a fun on the Collector's board talking about our salt & pepper shakers, Disney came up with this nutty pin thing.

Get this, they thought that people would want to wear dozens of them all at once. Not only that, they thought that you'd wait in line for hours just to get one, and then you'd be expected to turn around and trade it to someone else!

I know, I know, it sounds crazy. I'll bet that Disney took a beating on that idea.

And for you folks who are wondering who I am, I was the second host of the Collector's Board, back in the BP (before pin) era. When the pin craze took off, I started Thursday Pin Chat.

Since my darned kids actually expected a college education, I eventually had to cut back on my pin passion. I turned over hosting this wonderful board to a terrific bunch of "pinheads" who I still love and admire.

Anyway, I'm back for a bit. Now about those salt & pepper shakers...................

Disney probably took a beating is right.
At least they haven't wasted money or valuable CM time on things like Pin Events or special Pin Cruises.....now THAT would be really dumb!!!!!!
