1. CRT Dinner - We ate here last Jan (before the menu change) since it was our DD12 birthday and she wanted to eat here for dinner. We've done breakfast here a few times - so dinner was new. We liked it well enough. Our table was decorated with streamers and mickey confetti and DH and I got the prime rib, it was very good and DD12 got the kids chicken fingers and fries. (no DDP here). Our waiter was super friendly and even gave our DD an extra piece of chicken, he said he thought she could use it LOL (even though she's 12 she's about 5'8" LOL) If your heart is set on it - then go - but even though we had a great time - it's really not worth the money

2. We've eaten at the Coral Reef twice - once for lunch and once for dinner and for some reason I always come out disappointed - so we did not do this restaurant this past January.

3. I may be the minority here but when we ate at the Hollywood and Vine in January - it was yummy. I still an dreaming of those rootbeer sweet potatoes LOL. We all enjoyed this meal and our DD12 loved the ice cream bar.

HTH and have a great trip

I think your choices look great. You have some really fun meals planned.

Whether or not CRT is worth 2 credits depends on what you're looking for. If you just look at the food, then no...it's probably not worth it. The food's okay, but not great. On the other hand, there's nothing like eating in the castle, and to me that adds a lot of value to the meal. If you decide not to do CRT and are looking for another fun meal in MK, you might want to consider Crystal Palace. You'll see Pooh and friends there, and the food gets good reviews here on the boards.

50's Prime Time is a fun meal, so it's probably a good choice for your MGM dinner. My family prefers Sci Fi Dine In, but my kids are teenagers and we always go for lunch instead of dinner since lunch is better there.

Is Crystal Palace 2 TS or 1? I think my kids would get a real kick out of eating at teh Royal Table, but if we don't then they never know the difference... they are 4 and 7. They may enjoy the characters at CP better. Hadn't thought about CP before. Thanks.

crystal palace is one credit, i would reccomend eating there. i just dont think CRT is worth 2 credits, if you have to go, i would pay OOP

We have had dinner and breakfast at CP in the past, and we are booked there again for our next 2 trips. We really enjoy the food and the atmosphere!

CRT, eh, not so much. We ate lunch there in October (when it was ONE credit) and it was fine but we wouldn't do it again. Of course I have a DS9 so the princess factor wasn't a big deal to us. CRT was more of a thing for me.

What we found with "signature" dining was that 2 single credit meals would have cost more than using 2 credits per person on a signature meal. Our bill at Kona would have been $95. Our bill at Yachtsman would have been $120. We would have been better off eating at Kona twice! We weren't blown away by Yachtsman, especially at 2 credits per person. We paid OOP for DS at both places because buffets for kids are a better use of their credits than places with menus, so the comparison was just food for DH & me.

We've never been to Tony's, Garden Grill, Whispering Canyon, or Coral Reef. We have ADRs for Whispering Canyon and Coral Reef in August.

We like 50's, and we are going there again in August with our friends. The food is good and we were STUFFED when we left there. We went for a late lunch and paid OOP because we didn't want appetizers. Just the entree and the dessert were enough that I was full the rest of the evening.
