I think i know what you all are going to tell me but i want to ask anyway. Would you all rather go on a 7 night cruise or 3 days at the parks and a 4 night cruise or would you rather do a 3 night cruise and 4 days at the parks please tell me because my family is considering all of these options for next summer
thanks for your help!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Last summer we did the 3 day land/4day cruise (with an extra land day added on). This year we are going for the 7 day cruise (with 1 or 2 day on land pre-cruise).

I like the 7/7 option, 7 land and 7 sea. :rotfl: Seriously though, have you been to disney and cruised before? Who is going? What kind of vacation are you looking for? These things might influence the responses you get. But, I think you could pick any of the three choices and have a great time, so, you cannot lose.

If the choices are only land I would do the 3 day land and 4 day cruise. BUT my real choice is to foget WDW all together and do the 7 day cruise.

We've been to the parks so many times, now that we've discovered cruising, I'd vote for the 7 day cruise. We are going to WDW this August, only because the Magic is on the west coast. August 2006, we are back on the Magic for one of the double dipping CC cruises. I forgot to mention, our DD 15 would rather go cruising as well.

I would vote for the 7 night cruise! Even my kids (10, 6) like the cruise better than the parks. If you do opt for the land/sea, try and go with the 4 night cruise. Three nights is definitely not enough!

I've done both the land/sea and the 7 night cruise. If this is your families first cruise I would suggest the land/sea.....but keep in mind I'm 99.9% sure you'll be planning a 7 night cruise before you leave the ship :cool1: . My favorite is doing the 7 night cruise followed by a couple of days of WDW, makes getting off the ship easier ;)

Either way you can't go wrong, cruising with Disney is MAGICAL!!

I haven't done the land/sea option but I really enjoyed the 7 day cruise followed by 4 days at the parks. We got off the Magic on Saturday, checked into the Coronado Springs resort (using DCL transfers for transportation) and were at Epcot by noon. We had Saturday afternoon, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday morning before catching a 6:30 pm flight out on Tuesday.

Now I WON'T say what I though about going to work on Wednesday :sad2:

7 days on the water - no question

3 and 4 days on the ship is not enough, and way to hectic

by the time you unpack, its time to pack

or ------ a 10 day or 14 day cruise would be even better

7 day cruise without a doubt. :) We have always spent a couple days at WDW beforehand with one day in MK. This year we will be spending two days after the cruise to go to MGM & MK.

Have you done the parks? If not I would do 3 day land and 4 at sea. If you have done the parks recently then definitely the 7 day cruise!!!!! Of course, some of the previous posters have the best idea.........both!! Would love to know what you decide!

Having done both 7 days or 4/3 split. 7 days sea is the way to go. Of course, you are able throw in one or two days in WDw. :cheer2:

you forgot my personal favorite: 7/7/7 (jackpot!!) It's 7 at Disney on land, 7 on DCL and 7 back on land for "everything" in Central Florida that's not Disney (yes I realize that saying that is heresy - there's nothing but Disney anywhere -- right!). There's a couple of small problems with the 777 vacation: It's dang expensive :earseek: (ok not so small of an issue) and the other is that three weeks of fun is pretty tiring. :faint:

Forgive me Disney for I have sinned ... and am leading others away :earseek: but there is Sea World (and Discovery Cove), Universal Studios (not my fav), Islands of Adventure (Oh Yea), Busch Gardens in Tampa, Kennedy Space Center at the Port, Cyprus Gardens (between WDW and Tampa), Clearwater beach north of St. Petersburg and many other activities that can keep you very busy.

I've done the 3 days at the park/4 days at sea, 7 day cruise, AND 7 day cruise with 3 days at WDW at the end of the cruise. I would vote for a 7 day cruise and time at the parks if you can afford that. If not, I would vote for the 7 day cruise. I've been to Disney World so many times though. That is something to consider when looking at my vote. If it is affordable for you to do a week cruise and some time at the parks, I'd go to the parks first. I did not like the busy pace of the parks aftering getting off a relaxing vacation on the ship. Just my opinion. You'll have fun no matter which you choose! :sunny:

I vote for a 7 day cruise -- I think the 7 day combos are exhausting, and you end up going home needing a vacation!
