I'm not hugely fond of any of your song choices. They're just not me. DH and I danced to Fields of Gold by Sting at our wedding. We have friends that have danced to Just the Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra, At Last by Etta James, Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton and These Are the Days by Van Morrison.

But out of all of your choices I like Collide the best.

Rusafee1183, I like the last one the best -- "Sunday Morning" by Maroon 5.

But what I like doesn't matter. It's what you and your significant other like that is important.

Do you have a song that falls in the "our song" category? If you do, then I would seriously consider using it.

For my FTW VR a few years ago, Disney asked me to select a song for my custom fireworks display. Boy, did that throw me for a loop (I didn't know that I had to pick it; I thought they would pick it). They asked me if my husband & I had a "song." I told them that we did, but I didn't want to use it. I didn't think it would work well. And so I spent the next several days pouring over thousands of songs until I found something that I thought was suitable. But when I presented it to Disney, they immediately shot it down due to licensing and marketing reasons. Drats! I was heartbroken. It was back to the drawing board for me.

To make a long story short, I eventually found a song that Disney blessed. There's a funny story regarding how I came up with the song that I did, and I'll tell that story one day when I get around to finishing my trip report. Suffice it to say, the song fit the overall feeling of our event (our dinner reception was held inside Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park). It wasn't a song that I normally would have chosen, but it filled a need. Our vow renewal went on to be the most ~magical~ day of our lives.

So, the moral of my post is that if you have a "song," and if it is appropriate for your first dance, then use it. But if it's not, don't be afraid to find something else. The song that you select will go on to hold an equally special place in your heart. I know that the song that was chosen for my FTW vow renewal is such a song. Every time I hear it, I flash back to the night of my 20th wedding anniversary.

Of those I would say chasing cars, I love the song realize but I dont think its suitable. I agree with Janet2K pick something that has meaning to you and your significant other.

DF and I had some issues with our song, Far Away by Nickelback, cause its not a traditional wedding song. But its OUR song, so its whats going to be played as our first dance.

HOWEVER,

WE ARE GOING TO CHOOSE CHASING CARS WITH COLLIDE AS OUR BRIDAL PARTY DANCE (WE WERE TRYING TO CHOOSE BOTH )

THE PROBLEM WAS THAT MY DFI AND MYSELF WEREN'T REALLY THE "OUR SONG" KINDA GUYS... WE NEVER REALLY ESTABLISHED SOMETHING FOR OURSELVES AND ALL OF THE SONGS THAT I POSTED WERE MEANINGFUL IN DIFFERENT WAYS EXCEPT "REALIZE" MY DFI JUST HEARD IT AND REALLY LIKED IT SO I PUT IT ON THE LIST (JUST FOR THE BRIDAL PARTY, NOT FOR US)... I AGREE THAT IT'S NOT AN APPROPRIATE WEDDING SONG...

I think you have to pick a song that is best for you guy's.There has to be a song that remind's you if him and vise versa.

I like chasing car's the best out of those song's and I never heard Realize by Colby Calait,I really like that song,I love her.I'm going to have to download that from Itune's lol.
