Hi to all! We ate at Fulton's in Oct '04-and had a fab meal! I was pregnant and it was all sooo great! I have seen some not-so-great reviews lately. I was thinking one of our days that we would head to DTD;do some shopping grab dinner here and then head to Ghiradellis. Now I'm not so sure? Anyone with thoughts or other suggestions on seafood restaurants-not in a park-would be greatly appreciated!

DH and I had the best meal of our trip there in 05. Not sure about the quality now, but man, then, it was AWESOME.

We had an excellent meal there last August. Take the reviews with a huge grain of salt since you can find good and bad reviews of every restaurant.

DH and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Flying Fish back in May 2007! If you have time to venture over to the Boardwalk Resort, then I'd recommend that for a great meal.

We always begin our stay at the World here. Our wait staff is always so great with our kids, performing magic tricks and bringing gifts (slinkies, cool pens, etc) to the table. I find it a bit pricey, but the kids have enough fun that it's worth it to us. I never leave hungry, so that's a good thing!

Thanks to all! I think I will keep this ADR and hope for the best! I just loved their crab legs; and we had the best pictures from our last trip there! Thanks again!

Well-you asked! Fultons is undoubtedly the worst restaurant in ALL of WDW. So many better places to choose!! For seafood, Flying Fish or the Blue Zoo would be my choices.

We have always loved our dining experience at Fulton's. We skipped this past September because we wanted to try a new Disney restaurant--Boatwright's. We were sorry we did and we will be back at Fulton's next year and as far away from Boatwright's as we can possibly get.

Do you have anymore details as to why you think this is the worst restaurant in all of WDW?

We really enjoyed it... our waiter was awesome, the food was great, and we had a table next to a window so that the kids could look out. Also, the way that the room was set up, the only tables were up against the window... so the kids, while mostly behaved, were easily kept out of other diner's business.

About the only thing that was so-so was the lobster bisque...

Thanks again all! I really wanted to stay with a seafood rest. @ DTD while we did our shopping and looking around. I am looking forward to it!

There isn't enough room on the board for me to list all Fultons service shortcomings! I did a thread a long time ago called "Fultons--what EXACTLY is poor service?" where I went into lengthy detail about all the service issues we had the four times we ate there. And that's the problem at Fultons--absolutely indifferent ,wretched service and nonchalant attitude from the podium greeters thru the servers, right on down to the bus staff. They could really care less if you ever come back.
Which, of course, I won't!!
But look-- the OP likes it and is going back--so enough said from me!

But heck--maybe I owe you one very minor experience so you get the general idea of what I mean. One trip we were at Fultons and right next to us was a table with two VERY attractive young ladies. The server (ours as it turned out) was fawning all over them. He hadn't even acknowledged our presence or looked our way and was kneeling on both knees at their table explaining wine choices. The two girls were really working him over, with questions like 'What happens if you can't get the cork out?", and such as that. A good 5 minutes passed, when they decided they really didn't want wine anyway, and ordered a couple of iced teas!! The server got a hurt look on his face, got to his feet, walked over to our table, got out his order book and simply said " So -what do you two want"?

Went with a group of 10 there last September- it was the worst of all the meals, by far. The service was adequate, but the food was bland and uninspired (I come from a family with cooking experience). The meals at Coral Reef were far superior, to the extent that they are similar. Seafood/pasta had little flavor, crab cakes were just not that good and the lobster tails had no taste! If I had to eat at DD on the DDP, it would be at Wolfgang Puck's.

Once was enough for Fulton's.

Hi! We just returned from a trip to WDW. We ate at Fulton's on Sunday night as it is one of our favorites. By Monday late afternoon, we were in the ER - DH was diagnosed with e-coli!!!!! The ER doc thinks that it was probably what he ate at Fultons. Apparently, they see alot of this in the ER with people eating at Fultons!!!! We for sure will not be eating there.

We have always had greeat food and service at Fulton's. Love the atmosphere. They have a great wine list. I usually request a window seat and have always been treated very well at the podium, by the hostess and the wait staff. To each his own, but I am glad that Fulton's has mixed reviews, makes it easier for me make an ADR. ( I do feel people get a bit turned off at Fulton's because of the $$,but they have always met our expectations)

PS...for the OP who ended up in the ER......same thing happened to me after a meal at Planet Hollywood in DTD.
