Please tell me WL main pool will be open?!

Hi-I will be at WL again this Jan. and just heard that Splash Mountain is going to close again in Jan. for rehab. I know Jan. is a popular time for this but am hoping that the resort pools do not do this every year too---last year when we were there in Jan. the main pool was closed and I am just hoping that someone can tell me it will be open this Jan.? anyone know? thanks

The main pool at WL was closed this winter because they were doing a major refurb. That's not a usual thing, normally all of the resort pools are open year-round.

I'd check with the resort.

Wintertime is definitely the best time to do any kind of pool refurbishments, even if it's only to drain the water and do some cleaning or something, since it is usually too cold to reliably be able to swim in January. Chances are, it will remain open, even if it's 50 degrees outside (it did the last time we went in January, even though it never got above 65 the entire week we were there), but I'd still check with the resort itself.
