We are going for our honeymoon and we are wanting to get the best rate (aren't we all). We are going to get AP's and we want to stay at the Poly....we want to go to the Luau one night...the one thing is we want to stay at least 2 nights and possibly a 3rd night, so my question is should I book 3 nights and drop one night at the end if we want or is it easier to add a night? Also is it cheaper to book the hotels and the AP's as a package or not?

So if you can't tell I am lost!!! So I need all the help I can get!!!!

I would think you would want to drop the night if not needed to ensure availability? But I do not know for sure if you will incur a fee?

There is a general code out there. Maybe just call and a CM can help you out. You may get a discount at the Luau for having an AP. There may be a AP discount, this is why you should ask.

Have you asked the same on the dis Resorts board? Lots of knowledgeable folks over there!

I would recommend booking the 3 nights and then dropping one if needed. The reason I would do this is because if you add a night, it might not be the same room you have (since they've already booked that room days before) and you would have to move for the one night. Or worse yet, they could be booked up and you not get the room.

On booking with the AP or without, the price will still be the same since there is a room only code but not a package code right now. If you book room only, you pay one night's room up front, then the rest when you arrive. If you book a package, it is $200 down and the rest 45 days before you arrive.

Any more questions, just ask!!
