Please tell me this is not true… Goofy's Kitchen

Agreed. Chip and Dale are at serious risk of overexposure. If they all had different characters, we would do all of the meals. But this year we feel we have to skip some for that reason alone.

We just got back from WDW last week. When we saw Chip and Dale out at Epcot, I asked DD if she wanted to get in line for them, and she said "No, we saw them everywhere we went at Disneyland last summer. I've seen them a bunch of times this year, I'm good." :rotfl:

Love Chip and Dale, but DLR does seem to REALLY love them!

Funny. At WDW, you can only catch Chip&Dale at the spinning restaurant of death at Epcot. All the character meals there, and they're only at one. A far cry from DL.

Maybe in their effort to catch up to the popularity of "Frozen", Disney will soon have Chip and Dale wear coronation dresses at the character meals. :)

We went to Breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen on October 21st (Tuesday Morning) at 7am. Our photo with Goofy was in the little room to the right of the check in counter (I think it used to be a kids waiting room), so that was different than last time. Check in was crazy fast and efficient (also different than last time LOL)

We did only see Goofy, Pluto, Minnie, Chip and Dale. However, the interaction was phenomenal this trip. We have done all the DL character meals and this was our second trip to GK's. This was easily in the top two interactions we've ever had (the other would be at the Surf's Up breakfast.). Each character came to our table twice and spent a good amount of time with us. There was a lot of silliness...which we like :D

Also, we were a group of 10 adults this trip, and we got just as much attention as every other group there.

Thank you for sharing your experience! We are dining at GK on Saturday and I know my kids will love all that interaction!

I forgot to mention, we did do the napkin dance, which we had not seen on the previous trip.

OMG I had no idea about this and im kind of saddened. I wonder why they did this. I love having a surprise variety. Goofys always had a good variety of different characters and so many memories made there.

Any updates on how people like the dinner and characters now?

I have reservations for Goofy and Minnie's for my upcoming trip.

We did this in early December and were disappointed with the new stagnant character offering. In spite of the fact that there were only 4 circulating in the dining room, it still took forever for the last one to get there. In the past, we would have just left, but felt sort of trapped waiting for the last one when there were so few to begin with.

I also realized when we got home that they never came around with the photos taken out front. Since we have Photopass Plus, we were supposed to get those free but I completely spaced and didn't ask. When I emailed Photopass, they were quite awesome and printed and mailed the photos to us.

Our next trip could be our first ever to DLR where we don't do Goofy's Kitchen.
