Please Tell Me It Will Be Ok!!!

This is kind of off the topic...but I need some pixie dust! My boyfriend and I have taken DCL before and have had a wonderful time. I am actually looking at planning another trip in 2007 and am really looking forward to it...HOWEVER recently we have had some rough times. Not that every relationship doesn't have its difficulties...but the strangest thing just happened. I was reading the board about the Castaway Club and the new CD that they are sending out...So, I promtly called DCL and told them that since I havent received my CC card that I would like my CC card as well as a CD to get BF excited about our next cruise...Then I had this overwhelming feeling of deja vu and paniced! I once had a dream that I had gotten some stuff from DCL and then we got into a HUGE fight and ended the relationship... I know this sounds really stupid...but I cant imagine myself at disney with anyone else! Nor can I see myself in life with anyone else and I'm hoping that this is just a fluke thing. (dont get me wrong I am very independent but 4 years is no reason to throw out a relationship )
I remember having a dream a long time about with a similar situation happening...So, if a dream is a wish your heart makes when you are fast asleep-and they always say not to tell someone your wish b/c it won't come true...Here I am -looking like a dork- but blurting out to the whole world this ridiculous dream as well as a bit of deja vu...Asking for pixie dust so that it doesnt happen...

Pixie dust to you. If you search around these threads, you will find that the "something going wrong with my DCL trip"dream is pretty common. We put so much into planning and paying for this precious time off that it almost becomes obsessive. It's not just you, but you are in good company.

I bet you have other "strange" dreams, like flying by flapping your arms or having wild & crazy fun with old boyfriends and those things aren't happening. Dreams are just our mind's way of processing our wakeful experiences and stresses. They rarely predict the future, although i'm sure there is someone here who would swear they do. I wouldn't put much stock in a dream, even a bad dream. It's just your inner worries trying to settle themselves down for the night.

Thanks everyone. I'm just going to go into saving mode and see what happens...just for the record...2007 dates should be out in Sept-ish right?

I just really want to go back...and since he has gotten promoted he has been a bear to deal with...which means that the next year or so vacations will be few and far between-even tho I pretty much demand that we get out of the state at least once a year...it doesnt have to be HUGE but just enough to get away from home...this year is MI next is OH and 2007 will be another WDW/DCL trip...however, he is against doing a 7 day cruise...says we missed too much at WDW & other parks...So, I guess he will need to get his fill-not that I mind.

LOL! I hear ya! My DH isn't quite the Disney freak I am yet I was able to convince him to get married there and honeymoon on the Disney Cruise...it's now that we are having "issues" with Disney -- that is all I want to do but he wants to go other places! So, I've solved that issue -- I'm going without him on my next Disney cruise! To the OP -- don't freak out over dreams...I had a nightmare last week that I didn't want to go to Nassau so I flew home (???) and then missed Castaway Cay the next day! I woke up in a panic but thankfully, it was just a dream.... Think positive!!!

StuartMI we will be headed to Grand Rapids for 4 days in July. I tried to get him to stay at the Amway Grand-but he wont let me spend that kind of money

Disneybride: Thanks for the warm wishes. I try not to listen to my dreams...but lately they seem like nightmares! Oh well...I guess we will see what happens

However, as of right now...I am pooling my funds together so that I can make a decent down payment for a trip in 2007...now the trick is how do I get him to pay for 1/2? It wont be a problem...I just hate asking for help!
