I just figured out if i catch an afternoon flight the day before we are getting to the beach club, it is 500.00 cheaper on airfare. we can stay that one night at pop for 148.00, then head to the beach club. i would book that as a separate day since we are getting so late we would not need park tickets or dining plan for that day. how do we and our luggage then get from pop to the beach club. it would save 350.00 off the entire trip, and we usually stay at a hotel at the airport before getting a 6 am flight anyway, so we would be paying for a separate hotel room either way. Would I have to rent a taxi to get from one hotel to another, with our luggage.

luggage is moved by Disney free of charge; people are moved by people either via a Disney bus to the nearest park then a transfer to a bus to the new resort or via a taxi or private car. Another way to do it is, if you're planning to go to the park that day, just take the bus to the park - spend the day at the park - then take a bus that evening to your new resort.

the advantage to taking the taxi is you get there sooner and you might get a better room location rather than waiting till the end of the day or taking longer to get there with multiple bus transfers; however, there is a cost to that approach.

On our first trip we flew early one morning, checked in and ran to the parks - we were worn out by lunchtime.
So now, we always take an afternoon flight, stay at a value resort the first night and begin our vacation the next morning. It is so much better.
On the first morning pack your bags, call bell services, take a bus to DHS then ride the boat or walk to the BC to check in (much shorter than traipsing all of the way through Epcot). THEN go play! It is really easy.

Our flight gets in at 9:45pm the day prior to checking in to our resort. We are staying at CBR. To add a night at CBR it would cost us $195. To add a night at a value resort it will cost us $111. We checked into it and we can get a room at the Hyatt at MCO airport, with a goverment rate for $121. I think for us it will work better to get the room at Hyatt and then catch Magical Express the next morning after a good rest and be able to check in to CBR and hit the parks early with out having to mess with checking out of a value and then back into CBR.
