We stayed there two years ago. We requested and were give a room near the main pool. We had a two bedroom with a view of the golf course. It was fine, especially if you are not doing Disney all day everyday. The pool was very nice. The rooms were clean and spacious. Someone had described it as 3 star hotel equivilant and I agree. Nothing super fancy but adaquate and clean.
The cons: I had a daughter who was just 48 inches tall. On the first day, they gave her a wrist band clearing her to go on the slide at the pool. On day two, an extremely nasty life guard remeasured her and cut it off her wrist band. I went and explained that she is 48 inches tall (she had just been measured at the dx) and the other life guard said she was ok because she was at the line. This life guard insisted she needed to go past the line. Bummer for us because now I had an extremely upset 5 year old on my hands who didn't understand why her sisters could go and she could not on day 2 of our trip. Same life guard for rest of stay.
Also, no towells at the pool. If you forget it at your room you need to drip dry. No fun in cooler weather.
Finally, we had a miriad of very small problems in the room itself (ie: Freezer defrosting and leaking, burn marks on counter, tv reception in and out). I say small because we really don't spend that much time in our room, so did not effect us too much.
But the thing is, the rooms were clean, and the pool was very nice (especially for those who are clearly over 48 inches). We traded via II so there was no out of pocket expense. There was no hard sell time share pitch. The rooms and parking are very close. It is within driving distance to all. Speaking of which, beware of GPS problems. The road has a different name than what your GPS will call it. Call hotel for exact directions. If I recall correctly, it was only about a mile from exit to turn off for hotel road.
I hope this helps.
