our plane is spose to land at MCO at 10:43 am...we have a car reserved at budget and we will have some luggage to pick up on the baggage claim....
how long/ what time should we expect this all to take? will we be out of the airport within 1/2 hr? or 1hr?
wondering because we are still working on arrival day plans and would like a good estimate on what time we will be "on our way"

thanks

If you have a "quick rent" option you have a shot of getting your luggage and rental car in about 30 minutes BUT I wouldn't cut my plans that tight. Your flight could certainly be delayed and there might be a rental car or luggage delay.

I would plan on at least an hour before you're out of the airport. It'll take some time to take the tram from the gates to the main terminal, wait and collect your luggage (mine is always the last off the plane no matter what... I'm just lucky, I guess  ), and then wait to get your rental car. The rental car lines can be quite long depending on the day of the week or time of day, if you have "Fastbreak" from Budget, that can reduce your time significantly.

If you have more than 1 adult traveling with you I would suggest one of you wait for the luggage and one go get the car from the rental agency. I can't really remember how long it took us, but when we flew into MCO 2 years ago, I waited for the luggage to arrive while DH went to National to get the car. By the time all the luggage had arrived, DH was back with the rental car and we loaded up and took off. That should cut back on the amount of time you will be stuck in the airport/car rental desk.
