We went this past March, I think we checked in on the 9th, and it was not that crowded. We were expecting much bigger crowds. The weather was great. 80's everyday. Wasn't a very humid hot 80 either, which was nice. I think the MK closed at 6 or 7 same with MGM. Epcot was open till 9 like usual that time of year. We are going again in March and are looking at the first week as well b/c it seems like the second week starts some spring breaks and I thought I read somewhere about a dance or gymnastic thing going on around the 6th.

We are going Feb. 27th. - March 10, and I was also wondering about the first week. I am hoping the crowds will not be to bad yet and the weather looks like it will be nice. Would also like to hear from others that have been there the first week :D

We were there in March, 2001, for a couple of days. We stayed offsite and spent a day shopping at DTD and saw La Nouba. We also spent a wonderful day at MGM. I fell so in love with the place again that we scheduled a longer trip for 2002. The crowds were low and the weather was great. I would go back at that time again. Mickey

We've been the first week of March before. It was a great time to visit. The weather was very warm but not hot or humid. The crowds were very light, not as light as on our previous January trip but we never had to wait more than about ten or 15 minutes for anything. The park hours are short but since the crowds are so light you can see and do everything in a shorter period of time. The day before we left the spring break crowd started to roll in - lots of teenagers and I think one of those cheerleading things must have been going on. But I think that in general you are pretty safe with the very first week of March - I imagine as you get farther into March you run into huge spring break crowds.

Crowds in Spring revolve around Easter. The farther you are from the holiday with the corresponding college spring breaks the less crowded you will be.

Although, to be honest with a big crowd, it does seem like more of a "party". More excitement in the air.
