Anyways, we got engaged earlier this month up at Fenway Park in Boston and we really would like to have a small wedding and I LOVE disney world. I actually worked there for a little while last summer. ok enough of that, let me get to the point...

:welcome: to the boards from a fellow Virginian!!!

We were married at 11 am at Sea Breeze Point on September 20, 2005. It was just me and my DH.

The only thing I added to the original package was I pre-purchased my photo proofs and added an extra bottle of champagne.

We had a meal later that evening at California Grill...just in time for Wishes!

For us, it was perfect...simple, romantic, and casual with a touch of whimsy. We loved the experience!

We have not had ours yet but I already have most of my plans laid out. I am really big on planning everything!

1. Which location? Sea Breeze Point
2. Date or time of year? September 9, 2009
3. How many guests? I have 13 invited but a confirmed no show of 2 which leaves 11
4. Any added things to the original package? I might add extra floral & the obvious champagne
5. Did you do reception or meal together after? I am planning to do a dinner at the Crystal Palace. Most of my guest have never been to Disney before and I thought since we have kids coming, the character meal would appeal to them and then we can all hopefully see Spectro Magic and Wishes!

Epcot photoshoot, upgraded photography package (40 5x7's... this was awesome and totally worth the money) columns and flowers, petals on the ground, Mickey and Minnie chocolate as favor, extra bottle of champagne, flower girl basket and petals, flower girl halo, corsages for moms and boutenniers for fathers.... gosh, I didn't realize how much extra floral we added!

Chocolate Mickey/Minnie favors

That sounds better than my dinner at Crystal Palace! Maybe I will do a brunch somewhere instead!

Brunch was a nice way to say "thank you" and "good-bye" to a few people who left that day. Plus, it's less expensive than dinner, and honestly we just wanted to be alone after the wedding. Whispering Canyon is not a character meal, but they have a lot of fun between the servers and guests. The Beach Club has character breakfasts if you want characters for your guests (especially the kids!).
