Please tell me about Trails End Rest. will we like it?

We leave for WDW in 15 days and have ressies at Trails End Rest at FW. We have never been to FW and wanted to see it so we decided to eat there. We thought that we may stay for the movie and campfire. I haven't read a lot about TER on this board. Will we like it? Will there be enough for my picky eaters to eat? like chicken, pizza, etc.

We liked it last time we went. The setting, meal, and castmembers were awesome. We wanted to go back but decided on different places this time around.

We ate there last week for dinner-- the food is good and inexpensive(for disney)
For kids there was mac and cheese/pizza
There is peel and eat shrimp, fried chicken(mine was nice and moist), BBQ, carving station-beef(cant remeber what kind) mashed potato, vegetables, chili, soup, salad.

yummy desserts- cookies/brownies/apple cobbler/rice crispy treats/ice cream

It is not gourmet- but we think it is a good value

It is a nice get away for a few hours

I think even the pickiest eaters could find something to eat there. There's nothing fancy or strange on the buffet.

I think the campfire and movie is a great option, too. They sell s'mores fixin's at the Chuck Wagon. I would suggest bringing some bug repellent, though.

DH and DS5 are both very picky...They both liked TE very much...As stated, the food is not fancy and is quite simple...The selection is not tremendous but they have plenty for picky and "regular" eaters alike...We all left full and happy...Our server was great and the price was right...Only bas comment was the dessert bar...Dessert selection was small and they did not taste all that great...Dessert was not terrible it just was not the best ending to a meal.
