We had dinner there on our last trip and unanimously decided we probably wouldn't go back. Only because it isn't the most convenient place and it didn't wow us. The chili was very bland and the biscuits were horrible, but other than that the food was very good. We do like the HDDR and one reason we went to TE was because DH wanted the ribs and chicken. DS enjoyed eating what looked like 4 pounds of watermelon and I did like the bread pudding dessert.
Our service was very good and DS liked coloring a picure of Chip and then hanging it on the wall. He even got a rice krispie Mickey bar with a candle in it and a b'day card because he had his birthday button on.
I would recommend it for a relatively inexpensive (by WDW standards) meal with overall good, very basic food. If we stayed at FW we would go back certainly. But TE is a bit too out of the way (we drive over and getting the bus to transfer over to the restaurant is a bit of a hassle compared to the other resorts) and a bit too much like a restaurant we could enjoy up here for us to make a special trip.
That said, I would have no reason to ever tell anyone not to eat there.
