Please tell me about Toy Story Midway Mania

I have not done this attraction before. Does it have FP? If not what tips do you have for riding it over the busy Easter period? Thanks

It's only the most awesome DL interactive ride ever!!!

Can you tell we love it? No fastpass but worth the wait. Go early if you can I suppose, the line is likely to be long any time you want to go.

No FPs.

They do have a Single Rider line, though, if your family is all old enough to ride alone, and no one minds not sitting next to each other.

Go early early at park opening (actually get in line before half an hour before opening, if that makes any sense) and follow everyone to TSMM.

It's a great ride! By the way, even if you just stand in the normal line, only two people sit together...the others in your party (if there are more than 2) will be behind you, you can't see them...so I actually like the Single Rider line b/c you're hardly interacting with people anyway. Though that doesn't work since DS is only 4...a few more years until he can do the SR lines...

BUT, if you work together you can unlock "eggs" that are worth a ton of points......the main reason we don't do the SR line much, we'd rather ride together to bump up our scores.

ok forgive me for hijacking the thread a moment, pixiewings tell me a little more about this bumping up the score you speak of
I have always wondered how people get such high scores, I just chalked it up to getting lucky. your insight would be of great use in one upping my friends.

The only one I know of is that if you "shoot" a rat or squirrel or something like that that is on the side of the barn, then all the numbers will increase drastically (after the farm turns upside down, I think?). But the person who told me that said that it is only for the person who "shoots" it, not the other person in the car. Hmm.

Well honestly I just googled "Toy Story Midway Mania cheats" and found a few different pages with that info available. It was really easy to find and they are easy to do. Each screen has one and they can be worth big points....sorry I've got a meeting right now so I gotta run but seriously, search it and you'll find what I'm talking about.

Here is a video on Youtube that shows a strategy to find the easter eggs & bump up your score. I was able to hit the rat on the barn, but spent so much time trying to get the easter eggs my son still beat me. lol

I do think I will spend more time searching for the right target that I will probably get beat as well. but after a dozen or so times on the ride I might win. that is if they do not want to ride any other rides. maybe I will have to plan a pre-trip for a little recognizance.

Its a lot of fun! We just got home from DL today. If you get there for the rope drop you shouldn't have to wait for more than 5-10 minutes to ride it for the first time and when we got off the ride the line at the most was 20 minutes long. We did this everyday of our trip.
