Ok, so we need one more ADR and we are in between Mexico and Germany so any reviews of either would be great, but I do think we are inclined to try Germany this time around!
TIA

Beirgarten is amazing, I have a ton of pics from the entire buffet and reviews from our April trip on the link in my signature.

Thanks! I will check it out!
Do they have the huge glasses of beer in Germany?
And more importantly, is it served in German fashion(warm) or is it served cold?

My DH and I love it (we both have some German in us). There is plenty to choose from. He indicates that the two beer stands that he has gotten beer from the outside vendors is cold (it is on draft). He cannot remember how it is from the inside. His guess is that it would be cold because Americans drink it cold and do not like it warm.

We tried Biergarten the other week and loved it. Everyone found plenty to enjoy at the buffet. Pork Schnitzel was excellent and my boys found a new love in bavarian cheesecake! You'll have a great time.

We love the Biergarten! Definitely something for everyone on the buffet.

We didn't love San Angel when we had dinner there a few years ago but I think it had more to do with a really lousy waiter than the actual food. The atmosphere is amazing. We are going to try it for lunch this year & hope for better service.

The don't have huge glasses of beer in Germany. They have HUGE MUGS of beer. And they are cold. And more importantly, if you order one (or two) and can't finish it, you can get a cup to go.

We really like the Biergarten. Good food, entertainment during the meal and a chance to possibly talk to other people at the table (of course, you don't have to).

Last time, we got a late lunch seating are were still there when they changed a few things over to dinner. The food was basically the same for both meals and we saved some $$$. We also like to get there in between the band sets so we can order and get our first helping from the buffet and then see an entire show before we then get the check and leave.

Love Biergarten. Something for everyone. The entertainment is great. You do share a table with others. Wouldn't miss it!
Enjoy,
Lucy:)

How big are the tables? If we are a party of 6 will we be seated alone or will we meet some new people?:)

I'm not sure how many people the table holds. I'm trying to think who we sat with in the past. I'm thinking we were at a table of 8. Maybe someone else knows for sure. We have sat with some fun people. Its interesting.

We went in April for the first time and it was a pleasant surprise. The food is great. No beer for me since I'm pregnant, but DH had the beer flight and thought all 4 were very good. I believe the tables all seat 8 people, but I could be wrong. With a party of 6, you may get your own table. We will definitely go back.

Tables of 8. We were 5 and joined with 3 - Mother, daughter and 5 year old son. He was a hoot, knew everything about Disney. We enjoyed our new friends for lunch.

great question!! I am also going here, in fact making my reservation first thing in the morning :) ( 180 days tomorrow )
