of EE.

I love upside down rollercoasters (I know EE does not go upsidedown ) but I do NOT like the rides like Star Wars, Body Wars etc.. Never tried Mission to Mars. Something about the thought of feeling Yucky  makes me stay away. So how is the backwards part ?

It's not too bad. it's only for a few seconds.

I'm a big baby but, EE is one of my new favs.:thumbsup2

Space Mt. is rougher, wild-mouse type; this is a coaster w/short backwards portion...no big deal. Unlike The Mummy:scared1: @ Universal, the backwards part is fun.

My youngest DS swore we looped but, I asssured him we didn't.

The backwards part is what made my wife feel bad for the rest of the day. She can't do the simulator rides either...she gets bad motion sickness. She loved the ride up until that part, but she says she probably won't get on it again.

OOPS!! I forgot about MUMMY at Universal . I have been on that with no problem, so if it's similar to that then I can't wait to ride it. :cool1:

It would be pretty harsh if it was a steel wheel rollercoaster, however it's not so the ride is pretty smooth. Nothing too severe that a novice couldn't handle. Heck, i saw little kids riding that thing and i'm talking way younger than 10 years old.

the backwards part is a loop. It's just not a loop that goes upside down.

My kids also thought that we must have gone upside down during the backwards part. It does sort of feel like it probably because you become disoriented in the dark & backwards. I loved EE, rode it 2X in a row last Wednesday, but I did feel slightly off the rest of the morning, a little woozy. It may have been the ride or it may have been that I rode it on an empty stomach, which happens to me sometimes, it's hard to tell. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to ride it again.

Just to add - A lot of people want to know which is better RnRC or EE, but they are so very different it's hard to compare the 2 rides. I liked them equally as well.

Same here. I think it was because of an empty stomach. That happened before the first and only time I rode Body Wars. One thing I will say, I don't do great with heights and the second time we rode EE my daughter pointed out to me when riding backwards (sitting on the right side) you can look down and see straight down. Freaked me out! Maybe thats what upset my stomach I don't know, but the gift shop sells little snacks and I bought some pretzels. They helped. We rode EE a third time (used our FPs) and requested sitting in the front. Its a lot less bumpy.

Also the backwards part is nothing like the Mummy at Universal. Its a lot longer. On the Mummy you probably back up about 50 feet, EE its at least 300 feet if not more. We were there 3 weeks ago and are going back Monday on our way back to the NW Florida.

Note to self...never look when my kid tells me to on a ride.:rotfl2:

Agree as to The Mummy (my vote for the nastiest ride in Orlando). The themeing is great but, that shot up the hill backwards is insane.

I've had problems w/vertigo in the past, think that riding the same ride (that has extreme motions) several times in a row doesn't something to throw me off-kilter. If I put a few hours between go-arounds, things are better for me.

Curious, 1st few times I rode the original version of MS, I just felt odd afterwards for a short while. The last time we did, the entire family felt disoriented for an hour or so...we've switched to the chicken side.

short, but fairly intense. worth trying once. DH didnt like that part, made him feel sorta yucky afterwards. He wont get back on it.

Whn you go backwards, is it a backwards drop? I don't' do drops :confused3 , but I really want to try this.

Luv the pirate doggie pic:teeth:

The backwards "drop" is more of a rolling descent, nothing straight down...they save that for when you go forwards so you can see it;) .
