Please take your medicines properly!

Don't store medications in the bathroom, where high humidity can effect them, unless in a zip lock bag.

And remember that if you have concerns or questions about OTC or prescription meds, you can discuss them with your pharmacist. Most of them have spent 5-6 (or more) years studying everything about drugs.

ASTHMA MEDICATIONS-

If your child has asthma and ever uses an albuterol/Proventil inhaler at home, even if it is only rarely, make sure they have an extra inhaler at their school. You will probably need a permission form signed by you and by their doctor.

Also....if your asthma is being well managed, check your rescue inhalers once in awhile to make sure they haven't expired!!! Advair has made such a huge impact on my asthma, that I totally forgot about my albuterol for awhile and let them expire.

Also, remember to rinse after using advair. I've been told you can develop yeast infections in the throat if you don't...ewwww.
