why oh why the booking is so different in DLR than in WDW!! I just saw the 30% discount off until June and got so excited! Then I noticed that it was for WDW... bummer!
Yes, I know it's a different vacation and everything (I love DLR and happy to be back) but if the locals usually stay 1-2 days in a hotel, then the hotel industry is focused in out-of-state visitors?? Wouldn't that be the same that in WDW? I least is the same for me, I usually stay 8 nights at WDW, and will be staying 5 nights at DLR... with San Diego too, but for me it's a week and the planning is the same.
Maybe I have everything backwards...:confused3

In short, one reason is that WDW has SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many more rooms that they have to fill.

Totally different business operations run by different teams with complete different goals and marketing plans. Other than very few similiar things(never been to WDW and the family really does not want to go), and the Disney name they are much different. I have been a Disney stockholer for along time and do not necessarly agree with some things I am glad they are completely separate.
