I am planning my dd's 3rd b-day party which is exactly 2 months away! She wants to have a Tinkerbell party. I want to get the girls fairy wings and tutus and the boys pirate hats and swords. I have checked on ebay and found some good deals. I also think I will purchase the favors from oriental trading (they have great birthday goodies for great prices). I would just like ideas on games, decorations and how to keep the kids entertained. I want them to have a great fun time. I would love to see pics if anyone has done something like this before. I am so excited because my dd loves loves b-day parties. I want to make hers extra special! Any ideas would be soooo appreciated!!

My DD had a Tinkerbell party for her 2nd bday -- it was so much fun! I used Birthday Express to get most of the paper goods and decorations.

She wore her tinkerbell dress and we only invited a few friends but the girls loved it! We really went all out with the fairy theme -- pink frosted cupcakes with "fairy dust" (sugar), tiaras and wands for the goody basket and lots of stickers & jewelry! Good luck and have a great time!

Sounds cute! My DD's 3rd birthday party was a tea party but I thought some of the same things might apply.....

I made the kids lots of tiny food - which I thought might apply considering Tink is a pixie and all.... We had sugar cookies which I sprinkled with pink sugar (pixie dust in your case) but I made them super tiny - remember to change the cooking time, hee hee. I made little finger sandwiches, mini muffins, etc. Also, we put out all of the kids tables in the living room and covered them all with pretty tablecloths, and the kids thought this was awesome.

A tinkerbell party sounds like a lot of fun! I'm sure your daughter will love it!

Wow. I was just at Party City for My dd6 (7 to be) birthday plans. Got stuff that was authentic Tink and some "fairytopia" things that fit in with the theme. I love the idea of fairy food. Will definitely do that too!!! :tinker:

We did a Tinkerbell party for my DD's 1st birthday. We did everything up in pink and purple.

The big issue for me was the cake. I dod NOT like the Tinkerbell with the sunflower cake that alot of the stores were showing - not girly enough. I wanted to do a mini cake for her (since we wanted to let her have that 1st birthday cake experience) and a larger one for everybody else. I ended up having her cake done up in pink with small flowers and I used the Tinkerbell figurine that was in the Happy Meals earlier this year.

For the larger cake, I got a box of the Tinkerbell and fairies figures from the Disney Store and scattered them around the cake.

Here are the pictures of the cakes.

I did a Tink and Peter Pan party b/c we had lots of boys too. I made invitations that had tink flying and had a saying about believing you can fly around the edge. We held it at a little kids gym so I didn't have to plan activities. But I bought a Tink cake topper for the cake. And for snacks we had gummy crocodiles, gold pirate coins, etc. I also made cookie wands (sugar cookies with a lollipop stick) and decorated them. Favors were stickers, chocolate coins, can't remember what else. THere are TONS of amazing ideas on some sites like birthdaypartyideas.com. It is amazing what some people can come up with!

DD's 4th bday was a Tinker Bell ballet party. We held it at her dance studio, and all of the girls arrived in princess dressses. (I brought extras in case someone came in street clothes, but there was no need! ;)) I got some cool die cut stickers at AC Moore and made the invitations myself. The party decorations were all Tink - I think I was able to find everything at Walmart.

Julia wore her Tinker Bell dress, and I sprayed each girl with pixie dust (body glitter) as she arrived. Favors were wings, wands, body glitter, and glitter nail polish - all from Oriental Trading Company, plus Tink stickers, Tink hair ties, and Princess fruit chews.

I had the bakery make a Tinker Bell cake - I was a little disappointed with the free hand graphic, but it was fine. Maybe I should have just gone with lavendar and green, and used a plastic Tink figurine. But the baker tried!
