Robin I love your pictures. I am going to post some of mine in a minute but wanted to ask you a question. What type of camera do you use. Your fireworks shots are awesome. Mine do not turn out so well so I am wondering what camera you use and what type of settings to take the fireworks shots.

We went last year on October 2nd and are going this year on the Sept 14th. I loved the party and have been singing boo to you ever since! LOL Anyone else going this year on the 14th?

Those are great pictures!!!! I have to ask, where did you take the fireworks over the castle ones, and did you use a tripod?? They are really sharp!!

No tripod, I think that we were actually pretty far back, like around the little grassy area where the bench is in front of the train depot. The camera is/was a Sony cybershot, actually most of them were with our older model, a DSC-P9, it's a 4 megapixel. THe other is a DSC-W50, a 6 megapixel. The 6 is the newer camera and has more bells and whistles ( ie settings) but the old one still takes great photos. They both have digital and optical zoom.
